How did you get back in Perry? I got a window saying the session had been ended right when Scott was trying to hand the screen view over to someone who had a terrain issue. Couldn't get past the message without exiting. When I tried to use the original link in the email to connect again it said the meeting ID was no longer any good and I was SOL.
Chopsaw
Rich that is exactly what happened to me and I was about to give up and an new meeting number came through by email from Scott which seemed to have some issues but eventually worked. SNestor
2 hours ago, dshall said: I still don't get the DOOR OPENING lines. Scott - I believe the door opening lines are hard coded into Chief. You don’t have control of the dashed line size. You should send a ticket into Chief Support and ask for clarification. I think Chief stuck this feature in to satisfy some request they got and has now completely forgotten about this...thus no added features or controls. They do this too often IMO. I still don't get the DOOR OPENING lines. Maybe I don’t understand the question but I’m able to control my door opening lines. Here’s what I do: 1) put the door on its own layer. 2) select the door opening and click on “object layer properties” 3) turn off the display of “door openings” from the list. 4) turn on “opening header lines” and chose whatever colour or style of line you want. 5) bingo. Does this not work for you guys? Or do I not get the question? anyway I mentioned this yesterday in the workshop.
Michael_Gia
Or keep “opening header lines off if you don’t want to affect other doors and just change the door opening line style for that one door opening since it’s on it’s own unique layer. You did mention it yesterday. You are talking about HEADER LINES. They are in line with the stud wall. I am talking about the DOOR/OPENING dashed lines which are IN LINE WITH THE WALL FINISH. So they are different lines in different locations. Yes, your method works if you do not care if those lines that you are using are not in line with the wall finish.

Alaskan_Son
Door opening lines are a hard coded, dashed line style. The Help files actually specifically describe them as being DASHED lines.

DRAWZILLA
here is a short video about those pesky door header lines https://www.screencast.com/t/oJV2AyXi sorry about no sound I forgot to switch microphones. if anyone needs sounds let me know and I will re-do it but you can see what turns that setting on and off. you do need to set it up first b/c it will not change existing doors unless you select all of them.
