  1. In California I have had a structural engineer stamp all drawings for 30 years now mainly for all beam sizes (calcs) and lateral shear walls, pretty much required in the big cities here.. We also have to do energy calc's which have gotten very complicated lately. The cities here have all gone mad.!!

  5. This is something I have said for many years now. I use Adobe to print, never use Chiefs pdf.

  7. I think this kind of thing is faster and easier to just model as close as possible and use a cad detail for the gutter details
  8. Shadows are set in each camera's DBX now. Open the camera and check shadows.

  10. in the door DBX under schedule just check include in schedule or not. I will draw the as-built with windows and doors unchecked then save as the as-built plan and continue to draw the new with them checked to include in schedule
  11. Simple solution, just do not include existing doors in the schedule and only the new doors will show up.

  16. The answer is this type of stair adjustment should have been included in the stair DBX many years ago after many people have asked for it. People just don't really want to piece meal it and it takes more time to do.

  19. I've been using Joe's macros for that since he created it and never had any problems and very easily modified to whatever you need
  20. Did you even try to change the hardware edge smoothing to "HIGH" in preferences.
  21. As for the Nvidia Drivers, Perry is unfortunately wrong. Could you please tell me what the NVidia drivers have to do with the Alienware mouse. Nothing
  22. Nvidia drivers have nothing to do with the mouse. Check the mouse drivers or delete the Alienware mouse and try the standard windows mouse drivers. also do a windows update for the latest drivers
