  1. Thanks buddy, I didn't know that
  2. I don't think they have.
  3. You could try to bring it in as a "PNG" file
  4. all my text is black because I print in color so most of my colors are on the darker side, same with grayscale. Also bold will work. Don't do anything with a light color using grayscale.
  5. I agree with Joe, all my note schedules and in fact all my schedules are in a cad detail.
  6. I'm not sure how it all works but I just uncheck attach head and tail to other objects and don't seem to have any problems.
  7. sometimes turning on "rooms" will fix it too.
  8. f.y.i. Los Angeles is one of the most difficult cities to draw anything in. Beware and good luck
  9. When X11 came out ,I brought forward a whole bunch of X10 plans without any problems.
  10. for right now I use a corner board and adjust as needed.
  11. Steve, if you hit the control key while selecting a part of the stairs, you can adjust just that section however you want to. been that way for many years
  12. Seems to me he had something but it might have been to much trouble and time to do.. Right now I just add cad lines in the sections.
  13. did you try to "clear printer info"? It's under file/print. Sometimes it clears things up.
  14. We have been asking for soffit framing for many years. you can do it with ceiling planes and modified walls and drag the bottoms up but it sure would save a ton of time just to frame the soffits
  15. X11 is, to me, one of the best releases ever , even in beta.
  16. Larry--new stuff is old stuff after 1 year or less.
  17. This is why I never use outswing doors in any of my plans, even if the homeowner wants it. I'll go with am sliding French door in those cases
  18. Not detailed enough for me try this program http://contourmapcreator.urgr8.ch/
  19. I run into this all the time around here. I must have all doors swing in or provide code landings or stoops. There are sliders that look like French doors if your clients don't want the inswing. then you wont need the 1 1/2" step down.
  20. I would print in grayscale not black and white, you need to check the box " color off is grayscale" in preferences.
  21. I thought that only "PNG" files can have a transparent background.
  22. no experience with either, talk about dark ages
  23. well then all I can say is post the plan then
