  1. You could also try the "poche" tool in the camera DBX, it will also fill the walls
  2. try moving the roof to the 2nd floor, then the walls will be held back to that level.

  4. Don't use project management, problem solved. I have been using Carbonite for 20+ years and it backs up as I use the program, don't even notice.

  6. check out a new release of Moasure LX1 coming out soon. It uses a different type of tech. no internet no wi-fi needed. As you place this device on each wall of the building, it draws a floor plan on your phone, including windows and doors and ceiling heights. it works using a gyroscope to measure everything in a 3d space. It knows exactly where it is exterior or interior.   7. Fyi, you can still keep paying your ssa fee instead of going to the higher subscription fee. Just don't let it lapse or you lose it. You will also get the latest version.
  8. Download the Irvine cover sheet, fill it out, that's what they like to use, or it will be a correction. Other than that, they are pretty standard. If you do some California jobs, you shouldn't have any problems. Engineering is a must t though. I've done hundreds of projects there over the years. Don't forget everything here is 2025 California codes, and the wonderful Cal -green crap.

  13. do you have a 2nd floor over that room, if so then you need to not recess it into the ceiling.
  14. In the porch wall dbx, you can make the roof pitch different then the house on an individual wall basis and still use auto roofs

  16. turn off project management it's still there. other than that you have to export it
  17. that's what the blending tool does, it doesn't change the texture, just the color
  18. in the material edit dbx., just use the blend with checkbox and choose any color
  19. You need to turn on auto foundation rebuild to change it or delete your foundation and do it manually. Auto is much faster.
  20. X16 doesn't accept those files only X17 does
