  1. I have Adobe Acrobat pro ver 10. I going to update soon. Yes it the paid version but I don't want problems. I usually get the paid versions of everything I have
  2. Never have a problem with Adobe Acrobat , you can even reduce the pdf file size if you want or convert to whatever.
  3. Not me, Windows 10 will not install b/c Alienware (Dell) will not update any drivers b/c my machine is 5 years old.
  4. I know an engineer in Anaheim you can use, he just needs full scale prints, and does no drawing, just for markups. P.m. me if you want his number
  5. My laser device also loses communications with my IPad, all the time, Chief told me there is a setting (timeout type) I need to change but for the life of me ,I can't find the timeout setting I need to change. I lost the connection with my Disto when I upgraded to ver 9 so I waited for the newly released ver 9.1 and now I get a connection thru room planner, but it doesn't register in the Bluetooth section in the iPad, at all. Strange. I do agree it does take longer using room planner, I wish the dimensions were all on all the time and would stay if you wanted that. I'm not sure I can trust it at this point. Being able to lock a room would make me feel better about accidently changing a room I already did.
  6. Either turn on rafter blocking or draw your own if it doesn't generate automatically, its in the roof DBX. Check all your framing layers for that camera view.
  7. Here in Calif. we have to tie everything down, tie the wall & floor, and roof down ,and everything stays put.
  8. Most of the time trusses are not effected by interior walls, windows ,or doors, ceiling changes and roof changes will mean you have to re-do the trusses. so get your roof and ceiling in order first before putting trusses in. also make sure your exterior walls are set. If there is changes to that stuff, it's very easy to repair the trusses if you have to.
  9. For that gap just select the roof planes and move them in the -z direction to move them down a bit. use the transform / replicate tool
  10. here is a video showing how I do it http://screencast.com/t/fXeQh6PqFH
  11. Thanks Joe, I must sat that you are a huge help on this forum.
  12. Are you pasting to a text box, worked perfect for me. everything like the original.
  13. I know the Chief provided ones don't cut the cabinet, they just sit on the counter and you have to manually move it and repair the cab.
  14. Windows will not cut to the roof , you need a custom window or a symbol. Walls should cut to the roof
  15. Simple, for the red one, just remove the back roof planes and drag the front roof planes to the back and set the side wall shown to balloon frame and remove the balcony's, hit f12 to rebuild For the green one , not sure what you want to do.
  16. Do you have auto, wall, floor/ ceiling, and roof framing on? That might eliminate some of the problems, I always leave those things on until it gets to a point that you have to frame manually.
  17. Try to hit the f12 key and everything should re-build for you.
  18. You have a good system too. This shouldn't happen. Are you using windows 7,8, 10 ? I see you have 8.1, me too. I have noticed it's still a little slow at times, at least not as fast as it used to be.
