Box,Bay and Bows use the default Window , so you can perhaps change it there 1st if different from those used? you can also use TAB or the Next Icon to access the Windows in a box,bay or bow window too , to edit the in-place windows click over the window then hit TAB or the Next Icon and the selection should shift to the individual Window. M.

If they have a normal map , you change it on the general panel I believe , not via the Texture check box now , it's not so much a "Blend" though as a change.... M.

Just confirming that 21.20.16.4590 is working with my Intel HD 630 graphics card too. @Dan_Park I have occasionally gotten the HTML source code/no graphics since last week's Forum update , and no longer get any email notifications as I previously did of posts to threads I am following , a reset of those did not fix it either. You have to click on the Date (or time) it was posted ....I right click it and choose copy link location , been that way for a while for me.... or select the text in the post you want to quote, don't move the mouse, wait a second and a small popup will ask if you want to quote this, then click the popup..... M.

Just a quick follow up , x10 is running fine on my Acer Laptop ( above ) 1050ti that arrived a few days ago , and I think it will be a great secondary machine , for when working out of town or wanting to show Client's something on Site / at meetings , but if it was my main computer I would want something with more oomph.... and a 1060 or 1070 videocard , though it is not the Card (1050ti) I think that is the slight slowness , but my Desktop is 6 core ,32gb ram so fairly high spec, so I am used to stuff happening "now" not 1-2 secs from "now" , certainly PBR doesn't seem any different on the laptop to the desktop as far as moving the camera etc using the Nvidia Card. ( the Intel Card crashes PBR currently) M.

I picked up a Acer Nitro 5 An515-15 YG76 laptop for a good price (scratch and dent at amazon) which has the GTX 1050Ti in it too and it runs CA X10 PBR fine but I wanted to install the best Intel Driver for the HD 630 which also crashes X10 with 22.20.16.4749 as soon as you move the camera. just curious which Intel Driver you are using now ? Actually in the US Acer has some good deals direct in the Recertified Store , if you want something as a secondary machine till you upgrade your main Computer next year....and want to move the Spectre on.... Mine has a mark on the lid , which you can only see in certain light , so better than I thought but I guess they couldn't sell it as "new". Been having Roof Trouble myself this week ( SEH Errors clicking on roof planes) in .43 and 20.1.1.1 but Tech Support can't reproduce the Issue even with Steps provided , but this morning She admitted She is using 20.1.1.2 already ( won't be released for 2-4 weeks to us apparently) so She couldn't even save the Plan and send it back to me. She tried saving in HD Pro 2019 but as it doesn't have PBR all my saved cameras and materials etc are totally messed up. Thankfully She found the other SEH Error , I couldn't make material lists , turned out from my error reports that I had a buggy wall cabinet , She told me to delete it and Material lists started working again ...... X10 has been hell this week , all sorts of weird issues with decks and other anomalies I never saw in X9...... I feel like an Alpha Tester at the moment never mind Beta Tester , lots of wasted time this week , but plan was already 1/2 done in 10 so I had to continue with it. M.

Is x10 on the old laptop? are you migrating Settings or starting fresh and new ? You can install , sign in/activate , start x9/x10 once on the new computer. Then rename the Data folder , xxxxx.Data.old , then copy the Chief Data Folder from the laptop to the new computer ( in My Documents) using your network ( lan) if you have one or a USB KEY. then when you start CA again it will have all your Toolbars, textures etc from the Laptop on the Desktop . If you need to in the Future , Use Chief's own Backup Entire File Option on the File Menu, it will zip the .plan up with all the Textures Used in the .plan file. Not sure if it still helps in CA , but they have always advised starting drawing near 0,0, (Origin) , so I placed and Input Point in my Template Plan so I am always close to 0,0 in the bottom LH corner of my window. CA Released new Materials and Core Libraries today , if you didn't see the Announcement , run the Update Catalogs command, under the Library Menu.

Just a heads up CA has announced new materials and Glass that works in Ray Trace....bad news is Glass in PBR will remain the same apparently ....

going back to .43 did not fix the lagging Issue for me , and while doing a Custom Manually framed Pergola yesterday noticed the CAD line work was really bad with little "disturbances" in the lines where they crossed each other, it was almost like CA was trying to add tiny arrows at each intersection when I zoomed right in, so I went back to 20.1.1.1 which fixed that issue at least and the lines are nice and crisp again. The ML only includes what is in the Model ..... and the include in ML box is checked when the item is selected. M.

Thanks Kirk , those two Codecs make a HUGE Difference in the file Size , the 4GB 60 sec videos are now in the 11-12mb region.... might have the setting too low currently at default for VFW , so will play some more with those.... M.

I would check the X9 Archive Folder for the last version used in X9 if needed.... M.

Just an FYI ...you can use the Print Preview Icon to also check line-weights as any time.... I pretty much use the OOB settings like many.... M.
