Win10 2004 has issues with some Hardware Drivers , which is why M$ has delayed it's distribution now , but you don't have it. M.

Was hoping to find a common link between the numerous reports this week of 3D not working but both Win10 and your Nvidia Driver are older, the nvidia driver almost 18mths old but I am not sure that is the issue but you can try a new Driver 446.14 is the latest here : https://www.geforce.com/drivers

Perhaps a Font issue ? same Font used on all Pages? I am thinking. I don't have 2004 , and no issue here ( yet) so perhap it is Windows 10 2004.... Nvidia Driver 446.14 here

Windows 10 will likely just replace it..... try disabling the Intel iGPU in the computer's Bios instead..... should force it to use the Nvidia only ...if the option is available? M.

You never installed X11 ? Leave X10 where it is and Install X12 , it doesn't overwrite at all , it does a Side by Side install so you can have both , and see if X12 has the same Issue. Perhaps don't let X12 "Migrate Settings" from X10 at least at 1st incase it's a setting issue... M.

Check none of the exterior walls are marked NO Room Definition on the General Tab. M.

Nahimic is an Audio Addon , mostly used by gamers, but is not "required for Audio" but I don't have it personally , but I would try updating that software and any Windows Store associated Apps 1st. No idea why it would effect 3D though.... https://www.nahimic.com/gamers/

Try simply adding the AirGap ( or rigid Insul.), 2x4 and Drywall as Interior Layers to a copy of a 8" Concrete or CMU Stem wall and that Room between the walls is gone......, there is also no need for the "furred" option to be used then. something like this :

Did you check in the Render Tab and the Nvidia App to make sure Chief was Assigned for X12 , your CPU has a built in Intel iGPU ( UHD 630?) too and it maybe getting used instead. 446.14 ( 5-15-20) is not my favourite Nvidia Driver though I have no issues in Chief with it, but perhaps try 442.59 from March 10th instead... https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us#

Make sure Chief is using the Nvidia Card ( preferred Graphics processor ) and not the Intel iGPU 1st , my next guess would be there is Library Corruption , eg a BAD symbol perhaps something from 3D Warehouse? But probably best to call CA TS on Monday morning.... M.

The Standard X12 Template file only comes with 10 Linestyles pre-installed now, the rest are now in the Core Library as noted due to complaints about how long the Linestyle List had gotten and all the scrolling that was needed. There is also a X11 Template available with only 6 lines styles in it for the same reason. I think you may need to be clearer on "Sloped Walls" 1st, as I don't see a Sloped Wall in either Picture you posted...

Press Alt_Q , the short cut for general wall defaults and enable Show Wall length , depending on the setting above it will show measurements to the framing (standard) ,siding , drywall etc.etc You can all Use the Perpendicular Temporary Dimension ( from selected wall ) after you "rough out" the Walls for the house to move walls exactly.

Bit of a strange Topic Title ??? Do you have V12 or version X12 ( ie V22)? That is a very old version of Chief files but I believe the Free V.X8 Viewer can open those older Files and resave them for new Version to use. If you Use no# 1 and check the zipfile option , ALL the textures, pdfs, images etc are in the Zipfile , then when needed you would unzip the File and open the Plan from within the Folder made when the ZipFile is extracted. Chief always looks in the current folder 1st for textures etc, it will then look in the Textures Folder ( in Data Folder) if not found in the Current folder. M.

Did you PURGE the Materials before doing the backup , that should remove any Materials you have "tried" but are no longer using.... I don't know of a way to find a particular material in the Plan though..... deleting or moving the file out of the folder may show you in a 3D Camera...maybe? but I think Chief will just use a default material in that case ? not 100% sure ...or it will look in the Chief Data Folder>Textures for it instead if needed. M.
