  3. select the mulled unit and hit the tab key to go to the next item, the window. Then change it

    for as long as you want, just don't forget to deactivate that computer when going back to the other one.
  6. What beta version?, I don't think any beta's are out at this stage.
  7. trusses are not automatic, you must place them.
  8. Try turning off everything running in the background and see if that helps. Is that a new or old Quadro card? Chief prefers NVidia gaming cards
  9. We typically pour a new slab over the existing garage floor slab and level with the house or curb. if it's a raised floor house, then I add new floor joists level with the house and piers for support. for slab floor you could just use the slab tool over the existing also.
  10. stop dragging walls unless you absolutely have to. It will mess things up.

  12. I just don't do field topo maps, I tell the client they need someone else to do it if necessary. I just do the house

  14. Just remember if you pull wall down all the framing and drywall go with it, and your sections will be screwed up. I will never drag a wall unless it's a very simple pull. Sometimes after you print to PDF some lines will go away.
  15. Just do it within Chief, I doubt any layperson will see the difference. Chief does a very nice job of it. Just learn it.

  18. not that I needed to replace every 5 years, I just wanted faster parts.
  19. I have used Alienware for 15 years now , never had any problems but you do need a new one about every 5 years and sometimes you can last longer with changing out a few parts.
