I use different template sheets for engineering so the engineer doesn't have to stamp every page.

Here is an oldie but goodie showing text macro's
-
Dave, nice job buddy
-
If you want a note that changes everywhere on the plan use a simple text macro instead, change the macro and everywhere on the plan will be changed.
-
I think t.s. is nuts if they feel no one wants a plan note schedule, it's one of the basic items needed for plans, especially when you have plans loaded up with other notes needed like here in California. We all don't need it on every plan but for larger residential plan it's a must.

No change as of yet, but hopefully sometime in the future. I would also like to show property lines and measure to them also outside movable measurements would be nice.. I really haven't seen any updates for room planner lately.
-
Or you can just adjust your text to be on top with a solid white fill.

Here are a couple of typical live sections, I use sections as a general view, and details of all connections etc. are on the detail pages, and noted on the framing plans. everything is very live all the time but I do use the auto detail tool for the insulation and conc. fill. Auto detail is very easy to redo if needed, just select the line tool and hold down the shift key and select all the cad stuff, delete and hit the auto detail button again, it's back ,in all of 5 seconds.

This is the reason I keep all my sections live, move the footing , the plan changes everywhere. In fact my whole plan is live except for details. No cad details from view for me.

I just gave it back to you Joe.

not in California if its a habitable room

And remember some of us mix trusses and stick build all the time to get what we need.
-
also mirrors will not reflect other mirrors in the room.

Sometimes I save a plan to a different file mistakenly of course, try searching other files on your computer. I have done it several times

Nice one Johnny.

I figured, not much of a corner on the photo so it could work for him
-
Try to use material regions for that.

never seen anything to do it but you never know. It could be tied to another tool

never seen it

cabinet ends against angled wall (but doesn't???)
DRAWZILLA replied to DianeP's topic in General Q & A
I just use a thin cabinet Like 4" deep ,in this case, so you can keep your toe kick. Also use a custom countertop. The cabinet schedule will read it wrong so you would have to fix that or don't use dimensions in the schedule. Sink could be a problem though. Some people use a an angle front base cab and check back matches front and place it backwards in the plan -
Sometimes I will call a deck a balcony in some situations, this gives me a floor finish and give a little more control
-
anno-sets are so much faster.
-
YES, with a few adjustments for the lattice, floor height, beam sizes.

I have a 42" tv and a 37" monitor off to the side which I use for photos and libraries. You can adjust the text in windows settings, still have to zoom sometimes, can't get away from that.I'm pretty sure every video card today has more than one HDMI port.
