I always get the one with the built-in camera for those long distance measuring. You just can't see the little red dot in light situations, like daylight. The camera gives you an exact placement of the dot at long distances. I just couldn't be without that option and yes you will pay more but worth it.

I know Chief recommends That we transfer our template info to a new profile plan with each new version, I use edit all for that. layouts are a different story, same method(copy/ paste) but takes longer with a 23 page layout template.. Maybe he is trying to do that.

I sometimes will break the wall at the shower wall add an extension wall and reverse the wall layers and it sticks.

Just blend in any color you want in the defaults, purple is good

also the sheathing can be a white color to match, I also have that set up in defaults, if the color changes, it's easy to change the defaults to whatever

There is a difference between sub fascia and soffit, make soffit invisible to see rafters ,and just turn off sub-fascia but also set it at 5.5" , it will stick.. if you want a fascia turn it on, You may have to change the rafter colors manually unless you have set your defaults to white.

to change the NVidia settings , right click on your desktop and choose NVidia's control panel.

Leave it on, don't turn off, its invisible, !/16" is good.

Yes we learn to build cheap here, not many soffits so mostly exposed eaves unless the homeowner want to pay big time for it.

You don't need to delete the sub-fascia if you make the soffit transparent like an opening material.

I like putting schedules in a cad detail, then put them anywhere you want on any page, keeping them off your plan.

You have to take care of these kinds of things by signing a contract ahead of time., then no questions about what you provide.. Just don't give it to him or her, if you never agreed to it. Of course if you want more work you might re-think it. Whatever is best for you.

anything Alienware has been my choice for many years. they are gaming machines and that is what is best for running Chief. Never had any problems
