See if you can select to see what it is, and maybe delete it, or you can turn the layer off for that view, once you determine what it is. Usually when I see that it something that has framing of some kind that isn't straight. If you can post the plan someone here will give you the exact answer.

We have to show along with the post, the grade, #2 #1, and if it has a post cap, and what kind it is, and also what holdown it might have.

I use "Corelogic, have for many years, they bought out "Dataquick" recently http://pro.realquest.com/jsp/rq.jsp?&client=&page=error&action=switch&type=login It's a pay site, but you only pay for what you download.

Yes, I always like to have a clean model, everything else goes very smooth. It's worth it for me.

You can also change the "text style" for the beams and post, to get an underline text ( close to an arrow.) or bold it.

No , both for me. For me That's too much of a difference when you could re-draw all the walls in 30 min. Maybe an hour later, its all new.

For me what use to be a 3 page plan is now a 20 page plan, so I couldn't even think about it.

Probably to many changes between Ver 6 and X7, It may take you longer to fix up than to just re-draw

can roof planes be customized to contain more layers?
DRAWZILLA replied to Lighthouse's topic in General Q & A
I'm just saying to leave a blank space where the rafters would be and let a detail handle it. You could even set your framing at 48" using a !/2" wide joists if you use a 48" panel. -

DRAWZILLA replied to Lighthouse's topic in General Q & A
What you can do is, just create the thickness you want by adjusting the framing thickness you need and set the framing at 50' or whatever you have. Turn off auto roof framing. Then handle the details with a detail. -
I don't know how Chief would fix everything you want. but you can hope.

Thank you, for understanding, Randy, have a good weekend on me.

I understand what Scott is asking, a simple post the plan would save everyone time, especially the OP. Scott is one of the greatest and most knowledgeable guys here and has helped everyone at one time or another, including myself. He has done over a thousand videos, helping people and users. OP, you shouldn't be rude to him, He is just trying to help you. I't will be your loss.

You can draw your box first then add text using the "Edit rich text in place tool".

Move the site, always. IMO

Is it possible to copy only what is inside a box or polyline?
DRAWZILLA replied to Lighthouse's topic in General Q & A
I haven't had time to do it recently, but we have shaped the layout box in the past into a circle, we even did a workshop about it. -

Just send the view to the layout then you can adjust the layout box to a circle and change the scale. -
saw a new report just last week about it.
