  1. See if you can select to see what it is, and maybe delete it, or you can turn the layer off for that view, once you determine what it is. Usually when I see that it something that has framing of some kind that isn't straight. If you can post the plan someone here will give you the exact answer.
  2. We have to show along with the post, the grade, #2 #1, and if it has a post cap, and what kind it is, and also what holdown it might have.

  7. No , both for me. For me That's too much of a difference when you could re-draw all the walls in 30 min. Maybe an hour later, its all new.
  8. For me what use to be a 3 page plan is now a 20 page plan, so I couldn't even think about it.

  11. For line weights use elevation anno-sets to get the exact line weights you want.
  12. I'm just saying to leave a blank space where the rafters would be and let a detail handle it. You could even set your framing at 48" using a !/2" wide joists if you use a 48" panel.
  13. What you can do is, just create the thickness you want by adjusting the framing thickness you need and set the framing at 50' or whatever you have. Turn off auto roof framing. Then handle the details with a detail.
  14. I don't know how Chief would fix everything you want. but you can hope.
  15. Thank you, for understanding, Randy, have a good weekend on me.
  16. I understand what Scott is asking, a simple post the plan would save everyone time, especially the OP. Scott is one of the greatest and most knowledgeable guys here and has helped everyone at one time or another, including myself. He has done over a thousand videos, helping people and users. OP, you shouldn't be rude to him, He is just trying to help you. I't will be your loss.
  17. Hey, I never get compensated. Don't tell my wife, she actually think I make money.
  18. You can draw your box first then add text using the "Edit rich text in place tool".
  19. I haven't had time to do it recently, but we have shaped the layout box in the past into a circle, we even did a workshop about it.
  20. Scott, you didn't say you paint, you said you color them, with what tool. You are aware of the pitfalls aren't you. How about the exterior?
  21. Just send the view to the layout then you can adjust the layout box to a circle and change the scale.
