  1. I have already installed the NVidia driver that just came out, will install win 10 this weekend.
  2. Thanks Gawd, no rush for me. I'll do it over the weekend when I get some free time
  3. looks to me like a wall with a roof material on it.
  4. I haven't got my notice yet
  5. They can't possibly offer all of them at the same time, They will space them out. That's why we have reservations.
  6. It looks like you modeled your deck floor joists 24" thick when you should have used two separate framing systems, one for the floor and one for the ceiling,
  7. Really, then why the comment. And how can anyone help with that statement, it was funny to me ,when I read it. Exactly how could anyone have helped that. Please enlighten me.
  8. To change the ceiling height keeping the floor above , you have to use the floor definition from above and add a dropped ceiling with framing in the floor DBX ( using your math skills) and build the correct config you need. really simple. For the lowered walls you can use railing walls for that. I also use this method when I have a second floor addition and want to keep the 1st floor ceiling joists and overbuild the 2nd floor, I just wish there was a way to control the existing ceiling joists direction, they have to go the same direction as the floor joists now. I have to repair the sections when that happens.
  9. David, I guess you need a since of humor, to understand
  10. Look up "reference sets", you can use them to show anything you want. You have to set up a new reference set just like you would for a new layerset.
  11. You have the option to show the lower wall in the pony wall DBX. Windows will gray out though. Try to reference the foundation plan also.
  12. I agree there are just to many places to adjust floor heights and that can get confusing.
  13. Here is what I got "Mandatory requirement's" This is just the code to follow Chapter 4 - Residential Mandatory Measures.pdf
  14. Just turn off auto foundation and drag the footing wherever you want it. You can also adjust the footings to any depth or thickness individually. I tend to not have the slab generate on porches and add one manually.
  15. Break the straight wall, reverse the layer direction of 1of the 2 walls and drag the end back. Sometimes it helps to place a line where you want the break.
  16. I have been learning it recently, and I will have to get use to it. I have lots of thick walls and jogs and niches, and it would be a good test. I have the e7100 and it work fine. I'm still not ready for prime time yet, and I'm talking about me not the program. One thing I wish it had was a way to archive my measurements (dimensions) within the program, and leave them on all the time. I want a record of the original measurements. Without that , not sure I can use it. I have an ipad.
  17. I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO HAVE ANY 2 MIRRORS TO REFLECT INTO EACH OTHER. If one doesn't reflect maybe the mirrors reflect button isn't turned on.
  18. Larry, I didn't spend a lot of time checking everything, but I can see in your video that it still doesn't have the correct "stem wall top settings" @ -31, that should be a -24 like the slab, those should be the same, then you would have to change some of the footings/ stem walls individually. Look at the diagram Chief gives you, doesn't look correct does it. In a mono slab setting "c" and "d" should be the same.
