Is it possible to copy only what is inside a box or polyline?
DRAWZILLA replied to Lighthouse's topic in General Q & A
I haven't had time to do it recently, but we have shaped the layout box in the past into a circle, we even did a workshop about it. -

Just send the view to the layout then you can adjust the layout box to a circle and change the scale. -

San Andreas is really only capable of a 7.5 or 8, at least that's what they say. Cities around here has up the wind loads within the last 5 years or so.
-
Wind usually governs here too.

I opened it using acrabat

I opened it also using acrobat HINKLE 2 OF 3 TRUSSES.PDF PSS TEST 1 copy.pdf
-
Its encrypted meaning you have to un-encrypted it to open have them send you a copy with no security built in. It is a pdf with security

Postscript has to do with the text, It's still a "PDF" format. I would think you should be able to open them up also. Could be a Mac thing. Post one and I'll try to open and re-save

There are two ways to increase or decrease line weights Change the line weights, I like it b/c you can see what you get. Or change the advanced line weight options as shown.

Never for me. That would freak me out.

I use a min of 10 and everything in-between up to 200 when needed for lot lines and terrain perimeter . Walls are at 35

I don't think Chief did it by itself, without touching the keyboard, will it change, something caused it.
-
Just dragging it to your desktop automatically unzips it.
-
What version of Chief are you using? For remodels, I use the "existing cad mask in the background method", and have been for many years. It gives you a cleaner model which is important for everything else you do. the info is here " https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-02208/&sa=U&ei=sA2YVemUL4OvyQTr-pCABg&ved=0CAUQFjAA&client=internal-uds-cse&usg=AFQjCNFi0-sO9XSWNxTyf4cocmtT_XIlZA Maybe you have to drag the plan file to the desktop then open it.

In the texture you can also use the "Blend with color" tool to change the color of any texture
-
For that, just adjust the floor structure, "opening-no material" to reduce that space by a few inches so they will line up.

Thanks buddy, it nice to know something worked, that's an old Chief trick for old ATI cards
-
I guess I'm lucky, Too bad I didn't get a point also.
-
Ah-haa, I knew it had to be an ATI card. it's a 4650, that's an old card for sure.
