ARE PATTERN LINES TURNED ON?

Is it a pony wall? if so you won't see the brick, you have to adjust which wall you want to see in the wall type DBX. Just guessing without you posting the plan.

Elevation drawings without sub-grade crap showing
DRAWZILLA replied to reluctantuser's topic in General Q & A
What I do is make my terrain skirt deep as I need it with an earth fill and put my elevation camera's outside of the terrain so you are looking at the side of the skirt. Works good on flat terrains. If you have a sloped terrain then you may need to mask it with a p-line and earth fill in the front depending on the slope. I don't like all those lines either. -
I just upgraded my iPad mini to OP. Ver. 9.0.2, and now my e7100i won't pare with it. Yet it does pare with my Samsung S-6.

You missed it in Preferences, in the edit section.

I haven't found the need to reduce the size yet, at least it hasn't been a problem, but I use Acrobat. Chief's built in PDF does add extra bulk.

Never heard of the Ikea battery. I'll look it up, thanks
-
Of course ,everything can be improved and should if needed. Chief chooses to add or delete things as it see's fit and by how many people want it.

Nice, hope they got massive amounts of fire insurance.

Anno-sets are the biggest time saver Chief ever invented.

Turning Off Wall Conflict Notification in X7?
DRAWZILLA replied to DHerb2014's topic in General Q & A
Try this tool to line it up with the end and create a new double wall definition adding the 2 walls together. -
Drag the top down to what you want.

I just upgraded my iPad to ver. 9.0.2 and now it won't find my laser that I bought just for this purpose. My phone and everything else finds it fine.
-
I'd use the wall material region tool
-
You can also call it a balcony and use walls under it if you want.

Guys, for me, the sections do not have to be exact, because I direct all of the footings to a detail which explains it all. It would be nice to get it all exact but Chief isn't there yet. Anyway, sections are just a representational drawing for floor, ceiling heights, I don't detail those, its the details that really matter.
-
Of course, all we do is suggest, whether Chief does it is out of our hands. I do slabs every day without problems but not like Joe wants
-
Yes, Scott, you can make the footings as deep as you want but not automatically. As with a lot of things in Chief automatic will only take you so far then you need to turn it off and finish manually

What's the easiest way to up-side-down a stock crown molding?
DRAWZILLA replied to zowie123's topic in General Q & A
Good, I assumed you knew the process. Sometimes I assume too much. -

I think you have to draw a new profile by just flipping the existing one. -
You can find it here

I always start with the auto roofs on, then at some point I have to turn it off ,and manually repair them to get what I need. Auto roofs are just a starting point, especially with lots of different levels.

I have the Performance MX and my rechargeable batteries last 1 day., they said 1 week normal use. I use it all day every day, that must not be normal use.
