wjmdes
This works about 1 time in a hundred. Is this something anyone has a fix for or do I just need to submit a ticket?
wjmdes
Nothing when I click yes, just closes the file, does not do what it is supposed to do. It be broke.
Ridge_Runner
I've always been able to click "yes" and go to the folder and access the files. Not sure why it doesn't work for you. Probably should contact Tech Support; they may have a suggestion.

wjmdes
Not the answer I was looking for: Quote Unfortunately, we have not experienced this dialog not working. When you hit "Yes" it should open a file explorer window taking you to your archives folder, but you can always navigate to it yourself by going to your Documents folder > Chief Architect Premier X11 Data > Archives and then open the specific project folder you want to remove files from. Once in that folder, you can remove as many files as you want. You can also go into your preferences and adjust the Auto Archive Warning "Maximum Files" setting from 14 to however many you want (that will be the amount of files in that folder before that pop up appears). Alaskan_Son
It almost never works for me either. It’s one of those issues that never bothered me that much though so it hasn’t made it onto the short list of items to report yet.
wjmdes
When it worked I ignored it! Now after looking in the archive folder I need to do some serious cleanup.

stephenbc
Last month, this ability to go right to the archive folder upon selecting 'yes' stopped working for me too...but just in one project. The program appeared to start this behaviour after I had to physically go to that archive folder and open up an archived plan file to retrieve something I had inadvertently deleted in the current plan file. Joe_Carrick
Interesting that I can use "File>Manage Archives" but when a Plan or Layout & I get the message which I say "YES" it just closes Chief without opening the File Management dbx.

robdyck
It also didn't work for me consistently in X11, but does work consistently since X12.

It may be something they've since fixed (this thread was from back in X11 days) because as Robert stated above, it seems to work in X12.
