Check the dimension of the sub-fascia. Even if you don't use one, it controls that depth.

Open the symbol and check the X and Y. Sounds like their off, or the symbol isn't suppose to sit in a cabinet, it's suppose to go beneath the countertop.

Me too...very basic way to do this but works great. However.....P L E A S E do NOT place your stone base on top of the porch slab. Stone bases need to be grounded, not setting on top of the slab... P L E A S E!!!!

Why not just spec it with boarder planks and change the material?

Simply cut a hole in your roof to let those upper floor walls come up and add a shed roof to them so that you have more control over the roof.

Sounds like you have 2 layers of framing specified in the structure tab. Instead of a sub floor layer, you probably have another framing layer. Would need the plan file to figure it out.

You need to make a copy of that material and give it a different name, then adjust it.

Or the soffit or P-solid tool to create the courses. Might give you more flexibility than a molding.

Cut and paste it in the attic wall above. I note vents when I don't want them to show.

Leave the bottom flat and let the arched transom and molding from below give the arched look. Use custom muntins to further give the illusion of the arched bottom.

The are probably in a gable ATTIC wall and the WALLS, ATTIC layer is not displayed.

Unfortunately no. You can adjust a normal truss and make it a symbol I believe and add it to your library for later use.

When I select the actual callout, it's different than the note schedule. You need to fix the individual callouts.

Also...when sending an elevation or section to layout, you don't have to use the edge and pattern settings. Leave them unchecked and your layer set and material definition settings will rule.

Model it just like you are going to build it.

Whatever fill you assign in plan view will be displayed in cross section using the AUTO DETAIL tool.

Painted door trick wont help with con docs...still gonna need to make that door or draw a 2D version in CAD.

Just a marquis select process. Using CAD from VIEW is not a tool I use for sections and elevations. I can count on one hand how many times I have used that tool in the past 2 years, and those time would have been for a remodel/addition floor plan. Hold down the shift key while dragging all the lines in. For the lines that are really close to other...if you look close I probably didn't bother with those.
