  1. I know that those can be built into roof/ceiling trusses, but not sure I have seen them in floor trusses. The Tray ceiling tool within Chief won't build a tray into a floor platform though as far as I know, be it truss or conventional lumber.
  2. Framing should be the only main layer. Everything else is either outside, or inside.
  3. My guess is you have the wall main layers set up to do that. You need to fix your wall layers.
  4. You have your sub-floor and flooring layers checked as framing. Open the floor structure tab and uncheck the FRAMING box for those layers.
  5. Those borders don't automatically update to the paper size, you need to manually adjust those.
  6. You need to set up a layer set for those interior design shots. You have more control over those lines with a dedicated layer set for your interior elevations.
  7. In X15, I personally have noticed, that for balconies and decks if you move a wall during the design process it will delete all framing and flooring in those said spaces. Hit the REBUILD framing tool and see of that works.
  8. Apples & Oranges, and you don't have to buy the subscription. You are free to use your current version for as long as you like.
  9. Not really. Multiple walls can't exist in the same location. Will STLYE PALLETS help with exterior colors?
  10. How are you generating? You should be able to simply draw the new foundation walls and not effect anything else.
  11. @GeneDavisit's a copy/paste. Google search shows it everywhere... https://harrisplumbing.ca/how-your-home-plumbing-system-works/
  12. I literally have no words...well, except for those...
  13. Create with your mouse. We are all assuming you can draw the walls, so I don't really understand the question. You simply drag the walls where you want them.
  14. You won't be able to beat 2020 for ordering and having up to date pricing. You won't be able to beat Chief Architect for quick design and rendering. It's a fine line....
  15. Did you start with rafters then change to truss? Looks like you didn't make the adjustments (as Perry stated above) once you moved from rafter to truss.
  16. Just add a custom column in the schedule. Simple as that.
  17. FWIW Trusses wouldn't use X bracing, they would most likely require Strong-Backs.
  18. Grab one of the dim strings and hit delete. There should be a warning box that pops up letting you know that you are disabling that feature, simply hit YES. As for turning them off in your template, go to the dimension defaults and turn off auto refresh for that feature.
  19. I don't do a ton of slabs, and while this phenomenon isn't new per say, I have noticed it a lot more in X15 than in previous versions.
