  1. Try it with out changing the original settings, do that after you import. Before you copy and paste it hth
  2. When you export the image from chief use the pixel size recommended from the website. Or resize, compress your existing images with a picture editing software.
  3. Use a slab for the area under the deck and the post tool for placing pilings. then the beam tool to make the stringers. Nothing auto making these types of structures. hth
  4. Hi Jim, What you are seeing is the default sun shining from the right of screen. Your shadows are turned off in the camera you used. Try using the Cad line tool, north pointer, and sun angle in plan view. Then rotate the north arrow to move the sun position.
  5. I can offer to make your 3d plan, please send a pm with email.
  6. Hi Neil, I made a symbol of the house and imported that into your terrain plan. There was a warning about missing textures but I think it will find the path once its back on your machine. cheers, Michael lot1 Modified_with_symbol.zip
  7. Hi Doug, Open the shape tab in the window dbx. click match roof.
  8. Its your room definitions that need adjusting, make the floor and ceiling on main default. Open the exterior wall dbx and under options tab make wall height default. Then make the 2nd floor open below room default heights also. Then it will work and window view will be correct.
  9. Thanks Greg, was not aware there was one. Just found out two minutes ago! Downloading now.
  10. I think the walk thru tools are broken. Anyone else having this problem? I am trying a simple walk thru path with 2 key frames. I start the recording, save the avi file and as soon as it starts it stops. I plan on sending tech a copy.
  11. I looked at your plan and it appears you need to explode your floating dormers to get the roof opening polyline to work correctly. I did adjust the opening polylines to fit inside the room space under the dormer. Also as a tip for future roofing tasks :), turn off all the fill in your roof planes until you're set to send to layout. Makes it easier to work with and see whats going on. Also please set the roof base line over the framing layer of the wall it is going over. You will have less problems with getting the heights your after. RSU_MOSS_ADDITION_3_help.zip

  18. Yes tried the enhanced lighting on/off no affect. But when I tried the sun on (was using generic light follows camera setting) now it looks correct! what a bugger of a new feature! thanks Graham
  19. hi Graham I did try that and it didn't work. Even tried different cameras from different angles to test. No difference Thank you, can post a copy of plan if needed. I agree with the all the comments about this feature not ready for release. Also super dispointed it broke the raytrace capability! I do mostly exterior raytrace and its all messed up.
  20. Hi Scott, Try using the option to chose another program and in that dbx is the option to always use this program for the file type. No positive if this is the same on a mac tho.
  21. Hello fellow users, I am liking the pbr camera, thanks to all your testing and adjustments! Shout out to Graham, Mick, Larry I have experienced a weird siding color disparity in a railing wall using the same exterior wall type. The siding on the bottom of the railing wall where it covers the floor system. It doesn't seem to matter if its a solid railing type or baluster type. I just reported it to tech support.
