  1. Very nice Joe, thanks for your effort on this.
  2. I guess you could also just use a slab in place of the deck boards. you would still have the structure to hold it up. With a slab or ramp you could slope it for drainage.
  3. Yes I just reassigned the main layer and manually aligned them as close as I could not wanting to spend all day on it. There were other problems also.
  4. I think the Quadro's are good for 2d stuff, not 3d
  5. Rashid here is your plan back walls aligned. Its always better to use dimensions to align walls. I see a lot of other problems though. Hudlow.plan
  6. Thanks Joe, you are the symbol king Thanks a lot Dennis, now I have to find another one, thought I was the most handsome.
  7. I'm pretty sure it's a bug, already sent, but I have sent it in before for a few versions now.
  8. Whats wrong with that. Getting hosed is my fav.
  9. Here it is fixed, you didn't frame the floor and had floor surfaces turned off. Sorry its late but I was out all morning. bksalaska log home plan 1.plan
  10. I have turned that in to TS many times in the past, there is a way around it though. Put a new scoop footing 8" x 8" along side of the stem wall ( on the slab side) and it will work as advertised.
  11. Registry gets clogged up also, I use that tool every week and it finds things to clean, Jus think if I didn't use it. Done it that way for many years and the registry cleaner never took out anything I needed, Pretty safe if you let the program decide it for you.
  12. You can do all of those, using anno-sets, all in one layout, many posts on this.
  13. BTW ,nice idea, and if works could be the way of the future of Chiefs walls
  14. Joe, do the WMR's in the 2d plan show correctly? Do those layers seamlessly combine or is there a line showing.
  15. You have to frame the floor structure to see it, or you have that layer turned off in that camera view or section view. You also need to set it up for that foundation type. Post your plan for the truth of what's going on. also what version are you using, makes a big difference.
  16. I have also noticed that, then I loaded another version of the same thing and it went away, not sure why.
  17. I always turn off at night-- re-boot is a must for these kinds of things.
  18. I've gotten use to them- not a problem for me, but I have a 40" monitor and a 37" second monitor
  19. I just draw the walls and move them around.
  20. It really boils down to making money, not very many people can do whatever they want. Very rarely can I do what I want to do regarding Design. The budget always limits that.
  21. Try turning off "Hardware edge smoothing" in the render tab, works for some ATI cards.
  22. I guess I should give it a shot again. I just stopped using it when it kept dis-connecting.
  23. I still have issues with text boxes loosing the auto height and width checks which leads to garbled text. I suspect it's b/c I keep most of my cad details in my lib. As far as the plan goes- no problem. My rule of thumb is bring all plans foreward that are in the preliminary stage and , a plan that is almost complete, framing, layout, details, everything but plan check corrections, I leave alone.
