  1. Maybe his windows text setting is below 100% in the personalization section.
  2. Right now I just add any custom info to the label and include the label in the Schedule.
  3. I hear you,Joe, I just thought he might want them all off.
  4. Or just turn off all the box labels by turning it off in the layout layer display DBX.
  5. I believe Scott Hall has done some videos exactly on this. Go to his you-tube channel
  6. Not seeing the plan and with all respect, I think it's a case of user error. You just need to understand how Chief works., I do agree that the foundation setup is rather confusing for most people. A.B.L. Always be learning, After 10 years, I am still.
  7. After seeing the floor plan, I would just use roof planes-no ceiling, for that, and use bearing beams for the valley's and ridge.
  8. Larry , that's all a bug and Brian can reproduce it. I have turned it in for many years now. Slab to stem wall is just not good. It also messes with the framing. In that case you could also try a stem wall footing with a slab on top of the patio, but we all know that is not how it is done here in Calif.
  9. Sorry about that, nowhere in your text did it say you were using X6. Getting the stem wall flush is the easy part, just check the box. Aligning your walls was the biggest problem I saw there. Other problems were present but I didn't have time to go there.
  10. Not sure, I haven't done this before, but I have done some underground rooms with concrete ceilings, lots of rebar and waterproofing. I guess you could put a heat source in the slab for snow, like they do with driveways now in the mountains near me. .
  11. She should. Joe, I missed out what the trick is to show the hole, I still get the wood showing, not the hole. I did take the texture off the studs.
  12. Very nice Joe, thanks for your effort on this.
  13. I guess you could also just use a slab in place of the deck boards. you would still have the structure to hold it up. With a slab or ramp you could slope it for drainage.
  14. Yes I just reassigned the main layer and manually aligned them as close as I could not wanting to spend all day on it. There were other problems also.
  15. I think the Quadro's are good for 2d stuff, not 3d
  16. Rashid here is your plan back walls aligned. Its always better to use dimensions to align walls. I see a lot of other problems though. Hudlow.plan
  17. Thanks Joe, you are the symbol king Thanks a lot Dennis, now I have to find another one, thought I was the most handsome.
  18. I'm pretty sure it's a bug, already sent, but I have sent it in before for a few versions now.
  19. Whats wrong with that. Getting hosed is my fav.
  20. Here it is fixed, you didn't frame the floor and had floor surfaces turned off. Sorry its late but I was out all morning. bksalaska log home plan 1.plan
  21. I have turned that in to TS many times in the past, there is a way around it though. Put a new scoop footing 8" x 8" along side of the stem wall ( on the slab side) and it will work as advertised.
