Use a molding p-line in elevation view, set it to not have any casing.

No way to delete all revisions at once, that I know about other than using the "undo" tool right after doing it.

You can make the stairs have no fill and be transparent so you can see what's below.

Yes, I really never want any hatching on a demo wall, its to messy for me, What I really do is create a cad mask the goes behind the walls so when I remove a wall the mask shows up in it's place automatically and it won't mess up the model. takes a couple of minutes to set up b/c I have an anno-set set up to do it. I guess he could use a p-line to hatch it . I really never use those demo walls in the lib.

If you use invisible walls for that , you should make them "No Def" It will just keep the kitchen 1 room instead of 2.

You should use the new floor/ ceiling beam tool for those, it a lot easier than p-solids.

I use a lot of macro's every chance I get. Text macro's are very easy to create, and we all know we hate typing the same thing over and over again. You just type or copy any text into create Ruby box. this is the simplest form of a macro. Or you should check each roof plane edge for straightness, sometimes you cant see if they are off just a little. Also make sure the overhang is the exact same distance from the wall.

If the reference layer is on, when you send it to the layout, then it prints. If it's already sent to the layout, open the layout view box and check the reference set and which one you want to include with that plan. pretty simple. Just remember if you have all red color lines that's how it will print. for me the best way to create a reference layerset is to copy one that's close to what you want and change it to what you need and add "'reference set" to the name of the layerset so you know what it is.

I don't have HD2014 so I'm not sure if I can open your plan, I only use X7. But floor heights will generate your auto slab height but you may have to manually adjust each footing with a multi level house. You can post the plan and I'll look at it , if I can.

For me I let a cad detail of the concrete, with everything that's included in it, do the talking. The sections are just a representation of ceiling heights and a general view of what's happening at that cut. I just never try to detail the sections, that could take forever.

Yes, if I want to show posts ,I just turn them on in the ref.set but never really needed to snap anything to them. Also because of the way Chief handles the foundation plan if you want to show posts there you must copy them, change to p-line, as not to have 2 sets of 3d posts, or they will show up on the floor plan also. but you can use another ref set not showing the posts forthat. I have a different reference set for every plan (Floors, foundation, roof, electrical, framing) all levels. For 3 or more floors it would be nice to see multible reference sets so the third floor can reference floors 1 and 2.

Also it looks like you have different roof pitches. You can set wall by wall roof pitches in the Wall DBX, for the auto roof to work for you.

Also the "Auto detail" will cover up those lines and you can manipulate the cad boxes as you need to, I use it a lot to cover foundation lines.

Funny thing, never really needed to snap to my reference set.
