Eave Fascia

I changed the eave fascia from the standard 7 1/4" to 5" on the addition to the main house, but you can see what happened.  I have no idea how to fix this.  As always any help is appreciated.333 Lucy Street Plan.plan

Reduce the gable sub fascia to lift the soffitt

Tried that, it doesn't change anything.  Further, I did a test plan setting the eave fascia default at 5", and it turned out fine, plus the settings under "structure" are identical to mine, ingluding the gable sub fascia.

What you are showing are the eaves. Try changing the sub-eave. If that doesn't work, send a screen shot of the "structure" dbx. for the roof plane.

It's a roof framing spec thing.  Reduce the height of the eave subfascia by 2.25"

I've tried changing everything including the rafter size, and it doesn't help.  Structure dbx attached.

The "Eave Sub Fascia" is what the Soffit attaches to so it must be less than the "Eave Fascia" by the thickness of the soffit and usually a bit more which creates a drip edge.

I always make it 1 inch less. 
That seems to work. 
 

Although this dialogue box is one of the world's great unsolved mysteries. 
 

Thankfully Chief’s auto roof gets things mostly right, otherwise I’d still be working on my first plan.

Also, make sure it is re-framing, i.e., auto frame roofs is on or manually select roof plane(s) and select frame.
