Same spot as always Default Settings > Plan, or double click the Select Objects tool.
  2. Hello Ivan, It would appear that you have a Fixture Schedule active as well as your Cabinet Schedule. How is it that they both come and go at the same time ?
  3. That is a separate setting from your terrain elevation but in your situation it would be the same number. Set it in Dimension Defaults.
  4. Thanks Mark, I forgot to check that part as I have vector set as my default.
  5. Should work fine for an elevation view for Send Options of "Current Screen" or "Entire Plan View".
  6. Send to Layout as "Plot Lines" . This should give you a clean crisp view with black lines.
  7. Convert your PDF to PNG or even DWG or DXF if possible and it should speed things up considerably. Major problem with Chief.
  8. I guess it was a while ago and we all forget stuff but you already know how to do this.
  9. Absolutely no rush and you are correct, there is no point in talking to tech right now on this particular issue. In fact if you don't end up with any thing more to add to your support ticket I would be glad to submit this with my report if you like so it is directly linked. Just let me know when you are finished the job.
  10. If you have not ordered your computer yet and you are sure about Lumion you may want to consider an 8 GB or higher card. You should be able to produce an almost 1080p quality with chief alone. You need to adjust your active window as large as possible with your setup. Also noticed some pixelation and crosshatched highlights in your video's. What codec are you using ? If you want to post your plan file I can run one for you and see if it comes out any cleaner and I can stretch my screen and get almost 4K if you want to see what that looks like with Chief.
  11. Yes that is very similar to what was going on for me although I am not sure I noticed an issue with fixtures in my plans. I was able to get the three single panel doors to all fail as well as the bathroom fixtures but not the cabinet doors even with several repeated tries. If you can't get a properly generated PDF with it refreshed to the way it should look switch the layout boxes to Live View and it should be ok. Please be sure to send this in to tech as I am not sure they have this figured out yet and give them my name and a link to this thread.
  12. How many views do you have open while this is all happening and do you have more than one Active Layer Display Options Open ? Try and document it for tech support even if we can't sort it out for your presentation.
  13. I was having an issue with profile lines on paneled entrance doors not displaying correctly when updated in layout but this almost seems like a layers thing as it seems to be affecting the fixtures as well.
  14. Open the material in your user library by right clicking and set the scale and it should stay that way unless you adjust it but have it the way you want and do your adjusting in plan if necessary.
  15. Yes I took a quick glance at the website https://www.tstud.com/contractors/ and put in three layers of framing to represent the web core and then manually added the psolid foam filler blocks.
  16. You question is a little open to interpretation but are you looking for something more like this ?
  17. Place your symbol in plan and open it. Go to the materials tab and select the embedded material and go to Plan Materials and add the texture to your User Library for the best preservation of the material.
  18. Yes that is the solution but if you have another door that is large enough for a vehicle you still have CO and fire issues to address.
  19. Open the symbol from the library and in the 3D tab of Symbol Specifications > Faces, It will give you the face count. This can sometimes depending on the object be adjusted by the Smoothing Angle during creation or recreation.
  20. You could likely do it in plan or layout but plan sounds like the best option to me. Could not make the wall hatch tool work for footings or mono slab Scott is there a trick to that ? Wha5 is up wi5h your k3yboard ?
  21. Yes that is a little bland. You could manually add a colored fill pattern by drawing a polyline solid with a couple of polyline solid holes and then convert to plain polyline when you are done.
  22. If you are making a manual legend you can Insert the electrical cad blocks from CAD Block Management. However if you are using one of the more recent versions you can add the 2D Symbol to the Electrical Schedule as a column. There is also a Electrical Legend in the Library as a cad block that you can edit.
  23. Great, thanks. Please keep us informed.
