I agree with Perry, that has been my approach for recent upgrades.

I believe that is what it is supposed to do. I dont use this function I switch layer sets.

Check your setup, have you got margin turned on ? is the paper outline in the right place? I dont get this problem and have not heard of anyone elese getting it. What printer?

Mick I dont think I had this problem even when upgrading the card as well, I have not noticed anything changed in CA.

fire woman what Jintu was trying to say is that with the two forums this one for CA Premier and interiors and the other one Hometalk for the non-professional programs (even though CA call one professional ) you would get better answers on the hometalk forum as most users here have only seen the Premier version and have no idea what is in the cheap ones with rtheir verry limited functionality.

what is the pdf printer driver?? could be the culprit.

you obviously had a corrupted file which when CA restarts makes a new version if none exists.

been using x7 for a while now for full production, no problems except the lag. however I may be dreaming but put a better graphics card in on Sunday and obviously the latest drivers and think the lag may have reduced?

I used some the other day, they must have been from the library as I dont remember going elsewhere to look for them

using the icons is slow, i think most power users use shortcut keys at least to some degree. Maybe that is why no one has complained. however as you appear to have found a bug report it to CA.

Works for me in all versions in elevation camera

In New Zealand we have to be licensed to draw plans, a different license to build, etc. So a lot of builders that once did thier own plans now do not. So therefore the previous user base is reducing.

I would go with win 8.1 you might as well go for the latest and see if you can get another 14 years

The naming of library items and the search function are absolutly crap. I find manual searches are the only way and then any likely candidates need to be clicked on to preview.

I had never taken any notice of the post times, Why doesn't the forum take its info from Windows settings?? Mine was set for some place I have never even heard of.

I have walls to be demoed in a seperate existing plan as we have to show what we are starting with seperately.

I am interested to know what the main bug bears were with Revit as a heap of people rave about it.

Kevins way is my way, by using seperate wall definitions, I have existing, to be removed (in existing plan) and new walls of the type that I want for the job.

Crashes can be specific to a particular hardware combination, that is why they all need to be sent in. I have not yet had a crash in 3 months of use, this for me has been the most stable version yet.

For x-sects I use the vector view camera, I have not seen the video so not totally sure of the question. They may have used the auto detail button which puts in fill paterns

My guess is the help file is corrupted in some way.

post the plan or we are only guessing, what lineweight do you have set for the doors and windows layers?

Scott is this not the same as the methods a few of us came up with a few years ago maybe X5 when pass-thrus came into the program???
