    If you make it a room (manually) you will notice in the materials tab, where you can put any material you want as the cantilever underside material. You can also add it to the floor construction section in the room DBX if you need to add some thickness to the underside.

    Select the wall, hit the tab key, delete. Just look a the bottom to verify you have the hatch before deleting.

    I usually always start out by using auto roofs, then turn it off and going manual from there. Seems to save time for me.

    I gave mine to someone here but somehow it broke through the envelope and it arrived missing. Put it in something better than an envelope. My bad. Sorry Andy.

    You can also multi-select doors, windows and change them. Select the door or window icon and hold down the shift key and draw a selection box around all the items you want to change. You should do the doors and windows separately. You can also just select doors or windows holding the shift key.

    I use SnagIt but I don't do any editing, my Clients get un edited, I just don't want to spend my time editing. If your model is pretty clean than you will not need much editing. I will be purchasing a 3d mouse, it seem to work much better than any mouse does for videos. Never had to pay any update fee's with SnagIt. Screencast for storage of your videos is about 100 dollars a year.

    It might be the service your sending through, is limiting you, try a cloud based program like Dropbox.

    I would upgrade your 540 video card, the one you have is an old one. NVidea is in the 900 series now and I still have a 700 series which works great still. I will Soon get a new computer though.

    I have seen some people do the cutaway wall section in the past, not sure how they did it though. I think it's a lot of custom work to get it done.

    Whereabouts in California you from? Got a name?

    Siding is part of the wall definition, so you have to create a new wall to get something else. You could also try to paint all the exterior to what you want but I never do that b/c in the past, it created other problems, and some people didn't know how to get the original wall texture back.
