    If that view is tied to a camera then the view could be pixelated on the layout, this is a new method Chief is using for quicker viewing. Don't worry though b/c it will actually print at high resolution.

    Those manual's are included with the program, in PDF form, which you can print yourself or pay extra for a printed version. The good thing about PDF's are they are searchable for quick viewing and printing if you might need that.

    Ok I must have updated the core, but it seems to have downloaded to whole thing. I update the lib's quite frequently .

    I'm not sure I could get into detail, but Joe can. He has set it all up for me. it's based on the rooms labels, and p-line labels with different line-weights.

    I have been using Joe's "Site analysis" system for months now and it seems to work for me. I definitely couldn't have put it together myself. I think he is working on a different system using p-line labels. It's all set up for me so I don't think about it anymore.

    You have to move it manually after your done with auto roof framing. This is a Chief mistake. We have put in fix requests.

    Even though Dell owns Aleinware now, it's completely different. I have a 6 year old machine, never had any problems ever. But then again I know how to stay away from problems.

    It's possible you are using a floor camera, use the full camera.

    It's not easy but we have been working on Chief to fix this.

    I had that same (crosshairs) problem a few versions back but they fixed it a long time ago.

    You can try Duca-McCoy in Orange County. They have done stuff for me in the past

    If you need a real grading plan for a new house then an engineer needs to do it. If its just for a remodel than you can just do it within chief estimating the heights of the terrain.

    Use the " place lib. object" from the tools list in the customize toolbar DBX. Place that icon on your toolbar and open it and select any object in your lib.
