  1. Do you have it checked in preferences? I have noticed it very touchy and had to turn off raise and lower until I get better at it.
  2. We have Nukes, and if Aus. has some where do you think they got them from?
  3. From my extensive experience playing, Usually outside School bb courts are not official size, so she may have to adjust for what fits in the school yard.
  4. Good job Chop. That was probably a difficult one for sure.
  5. Here is an added bonus just for you also. http://m.info.adobesystems.com/nl/jsp/m.jsp?c=%40viKueufMhDUeh04xiSC4e2S6KRazDVVvLFol0q2x41g%3D
  6. Always save, first thing, when starting a new plan
  7. Try the (reset side windows) in preferences under "reset"
  8. No , you would put the (e) and (n) in the label of the object.
  9. Yep, I agree it really should be automated, if you could do it Joe, I'd pay for that.
  10. There are roof pitch markers in the "roof DBX" under the Arrow tab that automatically show on the roof plan, and make sure the layer "roof labels" are checked to show. They also work for elevations but not in a way that you might think, but works
  11. I draw the as-builts first and have set up my template to not show anything in the schedules, and just show window and door headers and existing (E) size and type. After the as-built drawing is done I do a save as existing plan. Then I continue to add the remodel but before I do anything further, I change all my door and windows, walls, posts, headers, framing, cabinets, beams, etc. to new(N) and check include in Schedule. Every automatically generates just how I want it to.
  12. I put everything in one job folder like (Smith job) that includes everything like photos, p.c.corrections, plan and layout files, owner notes, engineering, maps, etc. I use Adobe acrobat DC and, Paperport 14 for scanning anything, you can save as a PDF. Been doing that for many years.
  13. I think we (some of us) determined that data from places like Google maps, and Google earth ,weren't good enough for an accurate terrain.
  14. Go to an elevator site that you will use and they have all the details for you to download. Create an elevator shaft using walls no floor or ceiling. You really don't need to actually have a 3d model of the unit but maybe the site will have one or look for one at Sketchup's warehouse site.
  15. Another nice video from David. Most of the time that line will not print, but not always.
  16. I would draw it in a 2d elevation, then convert the lines to a p-solid on the 3rd floor.
  17. Larry, if you need the rafters to show at the eaves , just make the soffit an invisible material.
  18. Look in your downloads section, for SSA, bonus and Manufacture's stuff ,if they are still there. Hopefully you didn't delete them. I always save them to a folder.
