  1. Yep a very large plan will do it. You may just have to live with it for this one.. You can turn off things until you are ready to print, like large amounts of molding and round railings
  2. Oh, so you are a magician now. I wish, Walla, plan is done would be nice.
  3. Just turn on that layer in the reference set you are using. if you want sinks automatically, you have to turn on the cabinet layer.
  4. you can draw your centerlines on the floor plan ,then just cut and paste on the foundation
  5. REFERENCE LAYER SET'S ARE THE ONLY WAY OTHER THAN COPYING A CAD BLOCK TO THE FOUNDATION PLAN
  6. really wish it worked for California but it dosen't
  7. too much to state here, it opened X9 automatically. I'll open in X8 and re-do it and send it to you again.
  8. Not the way to do it, try to do all dimensioning in the plan then send to the layout. Not exactly sure what you want though.
  9. Remember too many cad details will slow down the program.
  10. Notes in the template layout: Why would I ever need the same note on every page? That is what a macro is for.
  11. Give them hell on the survey, that was a BS answer
  12. Even the inventor (Scott) of the SAM method uses macro's in his plans, try to learn it as soon as you can ,as it is one of the biggest time savers of all time.
  13. Go to Chief's data file and open toolbars file and see if anything is there, if not Copy your older version tool bar file to this location, new versions update themselves but not in X5. You my just have to create them again. Easy to do just about 10 minutes. X5 might be the version Chief changed how the toolbars worked but not sure exactly what version that was.
  14. Click the little green arrow and give them a point, they might win a trip to Idaho.
  15. I fixed those items for you, but I could see some other things, fixed a few of them, Merry Christmas I sent you an e-mail link to it for download 1542-fixed.zip
  16. I like the macro method for keeping your notes up to date, Change the macro and it changes every reference of that macro. I keep them in the ruby macro section.
  17. Check your "Edit wall layer intersections" tool and play around with it to get what you need.
  18. Don't forget all the updates if needed also.
