Without posting your spec's and plan you are using, it just a guessing game. You can also submit to tech support
-
Is your page setup in the plan what you want it to be? Did not download your plan

I have that problem all the time and you have to frame that California overbuild manually ,as Chief just won't do it over existing trusses. automatically, been that way for years now. I have also put in requests to T.S. for years.
-
You could just re-install X1 and see, it won't delete any of your files. You know there will not be any fixes to X1 ever again, maybe upgrade is the only fix. Chief has several ways to buy now, like payments, rent to own.

I would create a second floor, if you don't already have one, and use a railing wall on top for the parapet unless you need to shape that parapet wall with curves then you would use A P-solid for that. There are of course other ways to do it too.

In X8 the scale command does not show when I select it, only the resize command. For me I just grab a corner and drag it most of the time to resize it. But the background stays white for me all the time

Thanks I'll give it a shot

Right now you cannot save a camera view, and copy it, or send it to another plan ,and if you try to copy your template plan the camera views do not come with it.

I guess I still don't understand what you are doing.
-
Did you try the Reset side windows Sorry, I see you did try that.
-
Don't you use the PDF only for tracing, then turn off when you print? If not then you must change the pdf to have a white background
-
YES STILL LEARNING MYSELF

I have seen others, that look very good, but at this time I can't. I will send you a note.

After all these years, I'm trying to figure it out myself, but it does make a great difference if you want it. You can have bumb maps for just about everything in the plan.
-
For me X1 was very Quirky, was glad to see X2
-
Try turning off Hardware edge smoothing for that card. Worked in the past for older systems
-
A bump map for the grass makes all the difference

I've done it, and have all my old stuff on the data drive ,without any problems, but I also move on to the latest /Chief version when I can and really don't use the older versions anymore. I keep 2 current versions of Chief and everything that goes along with them, on my ssd drive. Everything else is on the data drive. I don't keep old versions of Chief ,just all the old data. I like to keep current. If I need to resurrect an old plan, I just open it in the latest version save and repair as needed. I wouldn't want to go back and draw anything anyway, the new tools would save you more time anyway.

Yes, Larry's got it

Just so you know, in most of the country, this is illegal, you must have a min 6" wide space on those winder treads at the small ends.

Never seen one of those here.
