ACADuser
Can not find this item. Is it easier to just build it out of primitives or SketchUp maybe?

ACADuser
Sorry Perry, forgot to click that last button. On my browser I must click "Attach this File " or it doesn't load. I added it to the first post.
HumbleChief
Alan, Did you see the awnings in the SSA library area? Not sure it would work for you but might be worth a look. You can also create your own symbol in Chief if you want to brush up on another skill.

I am trying to get an awning on an outdoor area that my client wants to have multiple louvered awning put over the window opening etc, I am curious if you were successful or not, as I may need to create one myself. MarkMc
No awning tool-Window DBX- treatment-exterior millwork above ..... Here is a go at what you started-may help you get there, be a lot easier if the original was made in correct orientation. I get confused rotating symbols and the like. yusuf-333
Well, it is not a joke and it is true that there is no awning tool, but the concepts needed to have an awning tool(standard louver) already there, the said tool allows us to apply all the behaviors of simple as such awnings. you can controll the angle of inclination, louver thickness, number of louvers, top height and bottom heights of the awning. It is the Stair tool, here is the test plan. awning.zip
