I have been building what I design in Chief since 1994 with version 2.0 so I understand construction methods and yet I see things on this forum that TERRIBLE in design criteria and they are skilled with Chief. It doesn't matter who is best because so many here with skills to help out others. 18. Yes you can manually draw the roof planes. Make sure before you start that all exterior walls are in correct location. This would be time consuming for a roof expert and a very difficult one for you to learn roofs on. With those dormers you will need to learn to use "hole in roof" process; join roof planes tool; understand fascia and roof baseline heights. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
