  1. I want to play in the sand box Chop, . PM me
  2. I still keep ver 10 on my old XP puter and I have a HUGE inventory of things if needed. Including all update patches
  3. Yes it can be done, several ways to do it. Above suggestions are good too. Floor truss.plan
  4. Do as Mick suggested and it will be solved.
  5. Oh I was rambling Jon Caffee, my point is "get going at it and figure it out"!!!! If I had a project that was wanting a pool birdhouse I'm quite certain I would be asking for help too.
  6. Now that we know what the bird cage is, the O.P. question can be answered. Yes Chief could do a bird cage over a pool and there is no quick way or magic button to accomplish it. Solids, polylines and various materials will get you started.
  7. Check floor thickness of balcony in framing dbx, make sure it matches your floor, or POST THE PLAN, lol.
  8. Post the plan Chop, let us play in the sand box too.
  9. Cupola!!!!! that's it. lol
  10. Best thank you for the guys solving problems on this site is to give a "point", so give Eric a point.
  11. You need to explain it to all of us, lol
  12. Ok, I want to know too, what is a birdcage not used for a bird?
  13. Thanks for the heads up on the new stuff. Very nice.
  14. Away from computer. Didn't even look at railing, fixed roof error message. I will check out the carnage shortly. You are correct Eric, Railing is guilty party but you did not mention it in your 1st reply, lol. I get deleting too fast when playing in others sand box.
  15. Opened your plan, exterior wall was broken but railing is causing problem ( Eric +1 point!). and was causing warning dbx. and you are doing GREAT for just getting started. Krueger.plan
  16. To fix it, go to wall dbx and change materials back to what is in original wall layer. Eyedropper changed your materials in just that wall.
  17. Eye dropper tool abuse and you need to break wall and change to interior, still a flaw on exterior view that needs work.
  18. Give Eric a point!!!! He fixed your issue and deserves it, VERY HELPFUL TO THIS FORUM.
  19. ShaneK

    wall help!

    Do as the Perry suggests
  20. Eric had the right solution. This is ver 19, but on 2nd floor use invisible wall over outside wall.
  21. I just repaired project for a fellow Chief user and that eyedropper tool created a MESS. Agree 100% with above post
  22. Make new wall with what you want without using eyedropper.
  23. Did you use eyedropper to change wall covering? If so I think you have to change materials in wall dbx to get back to what you want in your copy wall type.
