    select deck or porch, open dbx, click structure tab, select roof over button, rebuild roofs
  3. It's obvious that there will never be a "lone" program that will do everything for everybody. I know this CA has been the best for me and I started in early 90s. Tim O'Donnell, David Jefferson Potter, Dean (can't remember last name), Tommy and many more were the rock stars of the last generation. I see that a new crew and some of the old are holding down the fort. Lets stick to problem solving and making this a better program FOR ALL OF US.

  10. Attic room def only comes in as an option when a 2nd floor has been added. Build roof/create 2nd floor/ designate that 2nd story as attic. Not what you're looking for but you asked.

  12. Use poly solids and assign materials, you can get a similar look. 1/2 the fun of CA is tricking it to do what we want.
  13. I have been a Chief user since ver II and just upgraded from ver X to ver X7. LOVE IT!!! New Lenovo desk top with dual monitor. I just designed and built a 14,000 sq ft motorcycle shop and it would of been a nice project for the "learning curve", lol. Hi DavidJPotter.
