  4. Soon CA will ban toilet paper... Nothing surprises me what's coming out of CA no wonder people run from there.
  5. If you to build this you would have a knee wall with cabinets against it. Why not design this same way you would build this?
  6. To make this cut perfect you have to do it the same way as you would do crown molding and like Mike said you have to use solids and the piece that will make the cut must be at the right angle as you would set the miter saw to make the cut, which will be the solid piece instead of the miter blade to make a subtraction. You would need to know the spring angle of the crown, roof slope angle, etc It's much easier and faster to do this in SketchUp and you have to place the molding flat with top edge molding as it would lay on the saw against the fence and you have to set the miter angle and saw blade bevel angle that would be one cut and you use the same angles to cut the other piece and join them together and bring them into a the CA and you can use stretch plains to put them together.
  7. Glen, I don't about 20-20 vision, my wife had Lasik eye surgery done, I'm looking to reverse the procedure she doesn't miss anything now :-)
  8. I selected all exposed rafters, go into dbx, select rafter tails and put a checkmark into Remain Aspect Ratio. If checkmark already there, uncheck and re-check again and that will fix the issue. Nguyen new plan 1.zip
  9. Each item is a group. You need to dbl click the house and double click the elevation and apply the color. I just tried it and it works no problem.
  10. I have been exporting models in 3DS format into SketchUp to do renderings and you can edit pretty much anything in there, Here is a sample I just dropped a Basement bar in 3DS format, and you can select and edit each item in the model .
  11. I don't know Mark, its to early in the morning my brain didn't click into gear yet... Your way is much faster and easier, is how I usually manipulate shelving also.
  12. Just modify manually, get rid of what you don't need and use PSolids to make the shelving. Here is something quick as an example
  13. 8 1/4" here also and as JJ indicated the headroom height is referenced on the mid-point line between the 2 nosings.
  14. There is CCQ66 and ECCQ66 by Simpson there if they're the same
  15. I don't know, I centered everything and roof was built as it should. I didn't look at anything else.
  16. Your building is out of whack is why the roof is off. If you align everything it will build the roof the right way
  17. Place the sliding door and change specs in DBX
  18. When you select your line open Specification box like others suggested and on the line style select show length and angle.
  19. Are you looking for someone to make you that hood?
  20. Don't have much time to play around with this, have to be someplace, but I would make this roof much simpler to frame. Just run one straight gable from one end to another and add gables on the sides right into the main gable.
  21. Just got a notice that Wood-Mode cabinetry unexpectantly closing its doors after 77 Years.
