  1. Thanks, Mick, In the plan you posted recessed lights work fine. This must be a problem with my plan which is my template from X9 I guess I have to start making a new template. Thanks for posting that plan.
  2. All all of them make the molding disapair, even if I put them in the middle of the room or shut them off the molding is gone. Same with cable track lighting, every other track light works fine and I tried all that changing the angle and everything nothing helpes It has to be a bug with the lights because if it was my pc it would affect other lights also-I guess
  3. Thanks for looking into this guys. I have latest AMD driver and it has to be something with CA that causing this, never had this issue, and I'm using a more powerful renderer with SketchUp and with ambient occlusion turned on I never seen anything like it. I hope they figure this out, I will shut that thing off until they do. Thanks again!
  4. That didn't help Graham, it seems that the only issue is with the recessed lighting, puck lighting (I put one on the ceiling), cable lighting, etc from the core catalog library, any other lights work fine.
  5. If anyone is using space mouse navigator, do you experience this issue when you set space navigator mouse it works fine. If you close and restart the program you have to go back into space navigator mouse settings and uncheck>recheck any setting in it and it will work fine again. I guess the program is losing its ability to save the space mouse settings.
  6. Thanks Graham! I will try that setting out.
  7. Here you go, see if you can spot something. Thanks Plan1.plan
  8. Also in standard camera view, you see the crown molding and when I dropped recessed lighting the crown disappeared and if I move the lights to the edge of the ceiling you can barely see it.
  9. It was out of the box template, I just drew a few walls in it and used the camera.
  10. Does anyone else who is having this issue, when deleting a cabinet in camera view it wants to close the entire plan? I guess it's doing that when you trying to delete anything in the plan view also. P.S Restarted the program and it stopped doing that.
  11. Dave in Prefrences>Render you have to uncheck everything under Troubleshooting, that did the trick.
  12. How to make this rings go away.?In x9 I don't have that. I have edge smoothing on . This one you can see the crown barely This one the crown goes away when I took ambient occlusion to 0
  13. Around here we use Exterior Fire-X pressure impregnated fire-retardant lumber. Not sure about CA. I know they crazy down there.
  14. It looks like you need a fire rated wall and soffit assembly, you cannot have windows on the side if it's 5' or less from the property line. When building on the same lot, they want an imaginary line between the 2 houses which is pretty much they want to see the Fire separation distance between the line and each building.
  15. Right-click on the taskbar and select "automatically hide the taskbar" if that's selected and the taskbar is not hiding, right click on the desktop and click "refresh"
  16. Ken, not sure if this is what you looking for but here is a cad profile.Siding Profile.calibz
  17. Anytime Rob...Glad to be of help!
  18. No kidding?! I don't know how anything is being built down there with all the regulations and specs you have to submit with your drawings.
  19. If this helps: 2015 IRC code (Not sure what CA code is) M1502.4.5.1 Specified length. The maximum length of the exhaust duct shall be 35 feet (10 668 mm) from the connection to the transition duct from the dryer to the outlet terminal. Where fittings are used, the maximum length of the exhaust duct shall be reduced in accordance with Table M1502.4.5.1. The maximum length of the exhaust duct does not include the transition duct. 20. I think the winder on the general tab and the winder specification on Style tab where you specify how many inches for "max tread contraction" act separately from each other.
  21. Do you have winders checked? Uncheck if you do and try again.
  22. Anytime! Enjoy I made it in Sketchup
  23. Rob see if this will work for you.Vanity Light.calibz P.S. Forgot to add a picture. Vanity Light.calibz
