David, I have a designjet 500 and have gone to windows 10 and have had no problems. Had this printer cleaned and a new cable installed last winter and asked the guy then about win 10 and he said then it would be OK but that hp is going to suspend support of this model soon.Ordered another cable at that time to be sure I could make as much out of this machine as possible. The guy told me the 500 has been just to good a machine. Have a great week end coming up,Ken

Perry That sounds like the ticket. Just finished a job that it would have been a great tool to have.. I do as Andy said he does in post #8.A two story full basement with mansard roof. Exterior and interior walls, window and door locations and sizes , floor heights, joist and rafter sizes, and roof pitch. Plan was to remove the mansard exterior roof/wall, overbuild the existing upper roof with a raftered steeper roof and add a second floor over the existing two car garage and add a porch/foyer for a colonial look. About twelve hours and house is drawn. Did remodel and addition as second plan on desktop at home. Have a great weekend,Ken

Changing Wall Heights From 9' To 10' On Finished Plan
NRST8TRKR replied to BAGrant's topic in General Q & A
Hate it when they do that. Start on second floor and click on a room then click on choose like objects tool and set ceiling heights in dbx. box. Go to floor one and do the same drill. This should do it. I usually ck. each room to see if ceiling height changed correctly.(pita) Also ck cross sections and make sure all is as supposed to be. Hope you haven't printed it all out yet. Hope this gets it done for you. Have a great week,Ken -

Are you on the basement level of the plan when you places the light. If so and this is what you are getting, click on the light and hold down the ctl. key and move the light into the position you want. This should place the light in the correct position. Have a great day,Ken

Perry, I agree with the sitting to pay the bills rather than the heavy lifting, climbing ladders etc, also. Was told a long time ago to use my head instead of my back, just waited to long to do it. Have a great week,Ken
