Blurry cabinetry lines, ceiling lines and doors etc in X9
DRAWZILLA replied to EricWMLim's topic in General Q & A
The blurry lines are intended so the program can run faster, when you print it out the lines will be sharp again or you can zoom in and hit the refresh button and see for yourself. The layout will be at a lower resolution until you print. Be happy for this, I wouldn't want X9 to be slow when working on it. -
You don't need to open the plan file, if you just open the layout, the plan file comes with it. Just double click to open it from the layout. I also have the x? icon on the taskbar, right click on that to open any plan or layout, both directly.

The eave sub-fascia controls the depth of the rafters at the eave, just change that setting to what you want. If you are looking for a full depth eave than mak that the same as the rafter size, You might have to raise the roof planes so the rafters do not show below the ceiling line.

I put those room divider walls on a separate layer called "Walls no show" and just turn it off.
-
Are your rooms layer on?
-
You have to draw one, I agree Chief's details don't accommodate stucco construction but it's very easy to find something close to what you want and change it.

my experience has been that NVidia has always been the card to use with Chief ,but not sure about the latest ATI cards. I have had to get a new computer or upgrade the one I have about every 4 years. Each new version just needs more resources than the last one.

Those are your crosshairs just move them out of the scene or turn them off. On second thought, its you paper size margins.

Check for dirt in the hole also.

If it's anything like the cost for more than 5 plans on Room Planner, you won't like it.

I'm usually not in the habit of creating views of voids and duct spaces, unless something else is in the view, but nice one Michael.
-
All I'm saying is I have to include them unless something changes
-
That's exactly why I make those voids and include them in the schedule, so they count.
-
Why when the void is not heated, but Stairwells are.
-
I mark those as non-conditioned areas in the room DBX and included in the living space
-
I include those voids in the room finish schedule also or the square footage won't jive with the site plans
-
Each camera has their own individual setting per camera for shadows and other things now. Check that.

By the way, there is a full Kohler lib. you can download from Chiefs website.

Yes I think Dermot said this.

Anyone Seen This Material Painter Bug In X9?
DRAWZILLA replied to HumbleChief's topic in General Q & A
I'm not seeing this, but will watch out. -
I just make them a closet and re-name to Void 1,2,3,4, so it's included b/c someone has to build it ,and I charge by the square foot.

Where are the new bump map and normal map files?
DRAWZILLA replied to CARMELHILL's topic in General Q & A
Thanks, did you have to search, or did it come up automatically with the texture -
Where are the new bump map and normal map files?
DRAWZILLA replied to CARMELHILL's topic in General Q & A
I ask the same question, where are those things located or need we not know or are they built in. -
Dermot is the man, he knows.
