  1. here is a 4-4-8- siding I have used in the past 448 siding.calibz
  2. I always learn something new at these things, thanks Guys and Gals
  3. That is the question I can't find them but I know they are there but only in the core lib. When I select a roof material from the core lib. there is a map listed in the DBX. they must be imbedded in the material.
  4. Well, maybe b/c I just don't get those pesky crash's. fairly new computer and I always clean old files and clean the registry, almost daily
  5. Rule of the story is to get into the habit of hitting save every chance you get, I know I do. Never lost anything yet.
  6. You can also use the "Edit Wall intersection " tool on the edit toolbar after you select a wall
  7. Do you have cad lines selected in the "locate to" section of the DBX. of the type of dimension you are using?
  8. The parallel tool also does perpendicular.
  9. Room dividers will only stay as is ,if there are no differences in heights (floor or ceiling). It will frame the space between those hights
  10. You can use the same tool for perpendicular and it will give you 90d to the other line, as long as it's close to 90d to start
  11. Make sure the lines are parallel using the make parallel tool

  14. X9 actually has a lot of good stuff if you look further. your 745 is on the old side. I think the problem is something or setting on your side.
  15. All I know is that I haven't had a problem like that.
  16. update your video card, never heard of an NVidia 4g. See if that works first
  17. I have seen the glass all the way to the ceiling only in shower steam combo's, you can get a openable panel above the door that opens to let out steam if you have to.
  18. weird--post the plan for an exact answer
  19. is that layer designated as fir framing in the wall DBX? ,not shown
  20. The blurry lines are intended so the program can run faster, when you print it out the lines will be sharp again or you can zoom in and hit the refresh button and see for yourself. The layout will be at a lower resolution until you print. Be happy for this, I wouldn't want X9 to be slow when working on it.
  21. You don't need to open the plan file, if you just open the layout, the plan file comes with it. Just double click to open it from the layout. I also have the x? icon on the taskbar, right click on that to open any plan or layout, both directly.
  22. The eave sub-fascia controls the depth of the rafters at the eave, just change that setting to what you want. If you are looking for a full depth eave than mak that the same as the rafter size, You might have to raise the roof planes so the rafters do not show below the ceiling line.
