That's exactly why I make those voids and include them in the schedule, so they count.

Why when the void is not heated, but Stairwells are.

I mark those as non-conditioned areas in the room DBX and included in the living space

I include those voids in the room finish schedule also or the square footage won't jive with the site plans

Each camera has their own individual setting per camera for shadows and other things now. Check that.

I just make them a closet and re-name to Void 1,2,3,4, so it's included b/c someone has to build it ,and I charge by the square foot.

put the upper windows on level 1 in the window DBX, the label will still show but the window gets grayed out.

For no newels at the top set all newels to "0" then add them manually wherever you want.
