Thanks for having a look Doug_N I been drawing in Chief since the company started, I'm old LOL Never had this problem before. This is drawn in X-17 one story building with truss roof. I have not built the framing yet. So Just 2x6 walls and the attic or gable walls are built by x17 itself. But still a large attic area in a truss system. I would like to place a 8/12 gable vent. I've done it a million times. I could build a polyline solid and fake it but I would like not to have to do that. Thanks again. Gable ends I would like place siding vents for attic air.pdf

Can't place a gable vent in a gable end wall that is an attic. Any help would be great thanks

Hi Y'all, I am having the plywood surface bleed through my metal roof surface when I use the "perspective full overview" camera. I can orbit around a bit but with multiple roof surfaces I cannot get it to be good metal roof look all over. Using a Mac pro 2020 and Chief 12 and I am attaching a pic. Any thoughts would be very helpful. Thanks, Bill

Thanks David & Lew, Used X8 since its turnout on my Mac and maybe one crash. Just wondering if others were having problems. Could very well be my system. I might try reinstalling etc. Bill

My first day using X9 on Mac new plan. maybe 6 crashes about one per hour or so. Not able to reproduce them seemed at first to be with resizing library items then cameras views. Auto save helped me each time. Just saying so maybe fix will be on the way. Did not loose anything important. Bill
