Too bad, California's version does.

I use "PDF" to save old versions of a plan, only sometimes will I copy and save as with a new design using the plan file, that is if I think the client might need to go back. eather way I have a record of all the changes made.
-
Thanks Dave, very nice of you to do this.

I draw with no pants on all the time, good air flow

I think you are out of luck with the lost files, good reason to back up everything, but call Chief on Monday and see if they will do something. Now without SSA you can still download some lib's but have to pay a small fee.

Here in California we have had to deal with this **** for many years now. I believe if you provide a Rescheck report, that will handle the furnace size and water heater requirements. We use a different program special for this state. As for the duct design, no way other than getting a hold of a HVAC engineer and let him or her do it, or at least guide you on size requirments. Same for the electrical meter loads. The best way of doing all this is just bribe him not to do it.

I have a small portable vacuum just for that reason, work good but be vary careful not to destroy your computer.
-
We call those quick one's "Crappy Ray-traces", I remember long ago to get that quality, you would have to let it go overnight. Scott Hall and I have been doing the Crappy one's for years. Of course He invented it along with many other methods

Are your fans all working, try this, take you computer cover off and try it with it off for a while. Also vacuum your inside and fans if you can, lot of dust will make your fans and other thing not work great. Not sure what that message means though. One more thing try refreshing your catalogs from the library tab

Elevation line weights are light when sent to print to pdf.
DRAWZILLA replied to JECORMIER's topic in General Q & A
You don't have to send everything as plot lines ,sending as standard view will not have lines, it just a matter of preference . -
Shut down and re-start, try that first. Edit toolbar won't show unless you select something. What version??
-
You could use a p-solid for the arches, but I always like doing it as it will be built with the framing. P-solids don't frame. I would create a new thick wall and use arched openings and column symbols with a real post in the middle
-
Totally agree with Rob 2x4 min walls as it should be.

I also see this and I think it has something to do with transparency's but they print out ok for me. What PDF program do you use. I use Adobe Acrobat DC. -
Have you tried playing with the "edit wall layer intersections tool" in the edit toolbar when you select a wall. you can adjust each framing layer.

I also use an opening b/c, what about the wall above the opening, if invisible, you won't see the wall above the opening , outside or inside depending on the box out condition
