    Don't forget all the new goodies you will miss out on in X9, that just save time. Maybe just start out new jobs in X9, you'll never go back.

    Yes all the other versions are not effected, they all remain on your computer

    You can also just place the outlet cad block in the plan, if you don't care about the materials list. But if you do just place the outlet (symbol) on the side on a wall that doesn't show on your plan.

    Whenever that happens to me I close Chief and re-start. might also try shutting down the whole computer also.

    Just turn it off for those views. look in the backdrop DBX or maybe the general camera options.

    I took and passed all the classes but, I don't think it means much, this place is where you really learn the good stuff.

    Looks to me like the garage isn't modeled correctly. Post the plan for an exact answer.

    I just draw a box around it in the live view, b/c I like a thicker line anyway, use it all the time.

    Set your dim. DBX to something like !/4" or larger or whatever metric system equivalent.

    Must e your mouse settings, check them. Never seen that before ever. I have heard some people saying their apple mouse wasn't working as it should.

    And the Charger's will be in 1st place Not only will we use the cloud for storage, but all the programs will be web based, nothing will be on your computer. If you miss your payment , they can shut you down in an instant. You will only rent the programs.

    Well, I'm not sure what you are saying, but for me it works or I'm out of business. Been doing shear walls since the 70's around here

    Another way is to add a wall layer (invisible) on the inside of the wall definition and adjust where the platform stops.

    I don't know what you are doing, but I can control the patterns in the vector view, or sometimes I have to create a pattern view when there is none. I do it in the edit material DBX. good luck with TS.

    I can change the gutters and roof trim in section elevation view. you have to change them in the section camera view DBX
