  9. The slab will keep the post and pads from moving around so we don't need the grade beams.in most cities, I work in 50 cities down here and they are all different with what they want..
  10. Around here even a patio cover must have a continuous grade beam if no slab is present, to connect the posts.
  11. 50% high and 50% low vents and it should say what vents you are using and what size in sq. inches each one is.

  14. Don't get me wrong, you can do just about anything with Chief, it's about weather there is a program out there that's built for that kind of project.
  15. Chief is mainly a residential program, some people here can do light commercial plans but your post might be a little much as everything would be custom made and not the standard for Chief.
  16. Lew, Steven K is a Chief guy. Can't you tell by the Gonzaga bulldog
  17. I don't think so, as long as you got it from Chief, Post the plan and someone could try it
  18. I always manually draw any foundations for porches and turn off the foundation in the room DBX for several reasons
  19. Maybe one of your symbols has too many faces, did you get some of your symbols from another source ,other than from Chief. Sometimes that happens.
  20. What version are you and your client using?
  21. yep, have a terrain in my template plans also. I can always adjust it later. its just flat no adjustments yet.
  22. For the attic walls I just remove the "Attic wall" check in the box for that wall, then it will delete easily.
  23. I haven't seen this issue and have the latest NVidia drivers but I also use macro's for labels but not all of them.
  24. I think I have a ghost named David. not my response but I'll take if it worked for you.
