let me guess, 2 schedules in the plan -
That is not correct, you will still need to align the windows, the stacking thing is, so the 2 windows won't show on the same plan, it grays the upper window. I know it says a fixed glass window will align but not for me.

Block them together and the casing will show there or move them closer. Make sure your min separation is set to "0" in the window DBX.

Use the center tool and center the top window on the bottom in elevation view

I'm pretty sure you can do it with a macro, using the info already in Chief, That's something I would like to have. The problem is that, the info you need is probably locked and only accessible to those who know how to get it.

I also use Adobe X and not having that problem, so IMO it the setup either in chief or in Adobe. You could go to "help" in Adobe and hit repair and see if that does it.

"PDF" can be a vector or an image, try to save as a vector. You may not have any choice if its given to you.

I can't think of any way either. I wonder how bigger firms would even think of buying Chief as their main software but it works perfectly for me.

I have the D5 and it does everything I need except for the Bluetooth thing, A while ago I had to upgrade strictly b/c I couldn't read the old green screen very well anymore. The D5 has a black on white screen, very nice.

For the handrail, I have to use a p-line, should be automatic.

What is your ambient exterior set at in the render DBX?

Gee, that's not my experience, I always turn off Software edge smoothing and my rig runs much faster than if it was on. The hardware is just faster for me. Of course I have a killer card

Try to turn off "hardware edge smoothing" ,it works for some others

Are you using an "ATI" video card?

Yes just draw a p-line around it and open the DBX. No sure if HD has schedules, but if you do, the "Room finish Schedule has a SF category to add to the Sched. You can also use the living area, make sure it's checked in the CAD Defaults.
