  1. Jon Does it also have the Camera which in my opinion is a must have for daylight measurements.
  2. I have an NVidia card and running 337.88 the latest "whol"
  3. I have the D5 and it does everything I need except for the Bluetooth thing, A while ago I had to upgrade strictly b/c I couldn't read the old green screen very well anymore. The D5 has a black on white screen, very nice.
  4. For the handrail, I have to use a p-line, should be automatic.
  5. A lot of round railings will also slow things down.
  6. Or save it using copy every now and again. Chief has a timeout, but don't know how long
  7. The more cores the better with Chief.
  8. What is your ambient exterior set at in the render DBX?
  9. Gee, that's not my experience, I always turn off Software edge smoothing and my rig runs much faster than if it was on. The hardware is just faster for me. Of course I have a killer card
  10. Try to turn off "hardware edge smoothing" ,it works for some others
  11. Are you using an "ATI" video card?
  12. Yes just draw a p-line around it and open the DBX. No sure if HD has schedules, but if you do, the "Room finish Schedule has a SF category to add to the Sched. You can also use the living area, make sure it's checked in the CAD Defaults.
  13. I thought he needed to wrap the steps around, I guess not.
  14. You should be able to change it as 150 is still way to much.. that setting is for the terrain
  15. Micro your triangle size is way off, it should be 24 preview / 60 for final view, no wonder your having problems. that setting will really slow you down
  16. Scott is correct, if you want stucco, than make the wall type a stucco wall and it will be stucco.
  17. Sometimes I have to slide them together, but it does work.
  18. A demo plan is easy using anno-sets. Look at Scott's video's on Demo plans. I have 2 separate plans for additions, existing and new. The existing plan is shown on my layouts also. The dashed lines are just walls that use a dotted line, I like to mainly show the roof
  19. These day ,I would get whatever you can, I never charge by the hour but by the job, that way I can do it faster and make more money and there is no problem with the customer complaining about your hours spent.
  20. Tommy, you are correct, sorry for that.
  21. This is what reference sets can get you with going to cad to view, I never do that.
