If I have to rotate a plan, I just rotate in the layout--not the plan.
-
You can also control the showing of window labels for each window in the window DBX--label tab
-
Check your mouse for an updated driver or low batteries
-
I also add S.C. for solid core to the door label.
-
Some rooms might have a ceiling and a floor above, that's why we have this, no matter what floor its on, like a garage with a second floor over part of the room. The 1 story portion of the room will have ceiling joists.
-
Yes there is a bug, when you uncheck "Obscure glass in vector views" in the 3d DBX ,it should do it. It works for glass doors
-
Textures and patterns are two different things you must adjust both as needed ,they don't work together and are not connected at all.
-
Yes, one way is to make the door a slab type and use hidden hinges and make the door the same material as the walls and remove all hardware. You can use a molding p-line as the base on the door and call it a push open door. also set the jamb to 0"
-
Don't use a room wall material as the inside of the glass also get painted with that material, always has, use a wall material region instead.
-
Yes, it's already in the room DBX, look there. As for permanent changes ,other than a template plan, there is no way to change them permanently
-
Lot of railings will also slow it down, especially if they have round balusters. if so just make them square until your ready for views or turn them off until you need them

Thanks, I didn't know that, wouldn't that be 22", that would really screw with trusses at 24" o.c. I'll never get into any attic, headroom problems and I'm to old to do it. I have my contractors do it and take pic's also. I'd break the client's ladder or chair.
-
No ladder for me
-
They don't have to, the filters are in the ceiling. for easy changing
-
Joe, if I did any jobs in freezing climate's, I would also do that, but I don't, and builders around here just don't want to use the space for utilities
-
Here in California we almost now exclusively install the FAU/ in the attic space. For some reason Spray foam insulation is not used at all. I tried a few years ago and the foam company couldn't get state approval here, so we just put in the fiberglass batts
-
I think the "x" is actually the plenum portion of the FAU.
-
There are others, but I can't remember off the top of my head. I know I turned this one in a long time ago.
-
for one, Take a wall elevation of a Cabnet and try to change the countertop to 100, it just doesn't do it.
-
Look like some kind of ceiling to me. Make it an open below room.
-
I agree, some of the line weights just aren't working in some views.

This is the most spam EVER.

Why Does Arched Doorways Show Irregularities...

Try X6, it works better. -
They bribe the plan checker, simple as that. Went in to the city the other day and the plan checker said it will be 4 weeks before he could get to it. He also said that he could do it during his off hours for $500. The city of Yorba Linda fired their inspectors and plan checkers (cleaned house) for taking bribes. about a year ago. That's what we have become. Does anyone just do their job anymore?. They become too busy at work doing who knows what and take all the plan checks on the side, double the money, why not.
