    I just copy the key from the locker b/c I always read it wrong too.

    You can keep X6 also with X7 Just keep the install file for X6 just in case you need to reinstall later b/c installing X7 will delete your X6 download from your locker.

    Too small to read but there are more than I page of preferences. I also don't get any darkened shading in the mirror, looks normal on my end

    Could be a preference setting b/c I bring in your defaults with the plan

    I get a good mirror in both, might be a setting. I am using X7

    that's weird, don't know. I would just try to put a new mirror over that one and see if it works

    You can try to edit the mirror material itself, I myself have never seen that before. Looks like a material edit to me.

    I haven't seen any big problems with bringing plans forward from X6. Actually one the best versions yet for doing that.

    No, the old one didn't work, see if you have reflections checked in the render DBX. There are two checks to make for reflections all the time, one for preview and one for final

    I had two mirror materials in my lib. One was an old one and one was a new one. old one didn't reflect, new one did. Check that.

    This release is actually pretty good to me, could have a few bugs but nothing you can't work around. Definitely good for prim time.
