  1. You can keep X6 also with X7 Just keep the install file for X6 just in case you need to reinstall later b/c installing X7 will delete your X6 download from your locker.

  5. You can try to edit the mirror material itself, I myself have never seen that before. Looks like a material edit to me.
  6. I haven't seen any big problems with bringing plans forward from X6. Actually one the best versions yet for doing that.
  7. No, the old one didn't work, see if you have reflections checked in the render DBX. There are two checks to make for reflections all the time, one for preview and one for final
  8. I had two mirror materials in my lib. One was an old one and one was a new one. old one didn't reflect, new one did. Check that.

  11. This release is actually pretty good to me, could have a few bugs but nothing you can't work around. Definitely good for prim time.

  19. Those pop ups can be plug-ins in IE. You can usually remove them within IE but they also could reside in the services section, or the Registry. You can also remove them, but you should be confidant you are removing the correct files or don't try that. There is a pop-up blocker in IE.

  21. You can start out using the defaults. When you click on each line, you will see a green logo thing, and that would be the recommended setting. Try those at first, then you can play around with it trying different settings. You can always go beck to the recommended settings if you need to.
