  1. I have a 40" monitor and still too big and can't see all of it. Does anyone else see it.
  2. They have free accounts, I have a paid one for more bandwidth.
  3. Larry, one thing about your videos is that the viewing screen is a lot larger than my monitor size so I have to scroll up and down. Not sure, but when you size your screen viewing area ,maybe a little smaller will fix it. see below
  4. Nice Larry, What I do is put those lines and markers in my template plan elevations, already sent to layout. and they are already there every time I start a new job.
  5. They said they will be releasing a new apple and android versions at the k&b show in January.
  6. You can also make a Macro of it ( very simple to do), Then when you want that same text, just insert the macro. Also if you need to change the text, change it and every instance of it will change also automatically. This is very helpful for notes you use in every plan.
  7. I may have created a couple of the same text styles for different types of plans. For me its all automatic so say, I have a 1/2" scale plan which needs smaller text size, so just create another text style just for that occasion. They are all part of the anno-sets so, automatic and I never need to think about that again.. I guess I could have labeled it better but like I say, "What the H***". I always use "Use layer for text style b/c its a lot easier to change it there if you need to.
  8. Did you accidently toggle off the "Color" button
  9. I use 13 extra text styles for things like all the different labels used in the plans, others include Doors, electrical, Mainly I use them for text size so it's automatic and use layer text size for all.
  10. You need to put the plan in a zip folder to send it , also the chief plan must be closed before zipping it.
  11. I'm sure if you could post the actual Chief plan it would be more useful for helping you.
  12. Rod, turbo -cad (IMSI) bought Design-cad and let Design cad die on the vine. Why would they need 2 cad programs, we knew that when IMSI bought it.
  13. It's called Design Cad, did hundreds of jobs on it a long time ago, you can get it for $50 bucks now. They are letting it die on the vine.
  14. The program I showed also has the auto hide feature, I just kept it up to see it.
