Yes you can have a mono slab with a stem wall, just set it up im your room DBX. You also have a slab footing wall in the standard walls dropdown. You can just use that wall tool to manually put the slab in.
-
I was just trying to create what you showed in your detail in the 1st post.
-
Its also the same idea for a raised flr to slab garage, adjust the footing separately.

Here is a short video, if I understand you correctly http://screencast.com/t/mYvb9H40z3B

Molding Specification Material Will Not Change

try to copy it first, then Change it. -
Select the footing and make it however you want it.

I would miss it, for instance, when I activate the framing annoset, it also activatices the framing cad layer for new lines, circles, boxes, so they don't show up on all the other annosets I have.

Not sure what's going on on your end but Chief has always said CPU for raytrace and video card for renderings, I suppose the CPU must have some function just to run the program during renderings.

As with all terrain problems, you just have to play around with it, One thing I did do is just pull the terrain region all the way to the back property line and beyond, to eliminate the slope back up.
-
Here it is, I noticed the terrain wasn't auto re-building. terrain question fixed.plan

Here in the layerset. make sure you are in the correct layerset where you want it to show.
-
Does it extend beyond the patio a bit.?

Just move up your shadow board to get the same look. You should have roofing set to at least a 1/2" or you might get some z-fighting.
-
looks to me like your weak point is your video card then.
-
Have you tried using the "Elevation Region" tool.
-
Yep, it made a big difference for me An SSD drive also made a huge difference for me.
-
No Raytrace is raytrace, and everything else is rendering
-
Ray tracing uses the CPU and Rendering uses the Video card
-
I saw the camera right off the bat, do you have "Cameras" turned on in the layerest.
-
If you delete your toolbar folder, Chief will create a new one for you automatically upon re-start. You may have lost yours, anyway glad you found it.

Creating Reference sets are also big for me, It's use them for showing other things from another floor on the current floor. I use a reference set for just about every plan, roof , framing , site etc. You can set them up in the layout but create them in the plan. Very handy for creating construction Doc.s

No need to add another 2nd floor, its already there, just and walls or whatever you need. When you add a floor it covers the whole plan.
