  1. You have a gap there because the ceiling in the garage is higher than the roof plane and there is no structure filling that spot.
  2. I don't have any of that. These are vector view camera cuts.
  3. Construction company want ads. You need an understanding of construction to able to design and create plans.
  4. Place the girder truss(s), and multiple copy tool set to 16" o.c.
  5. Yes you do. Here is a page of details all from the model. Live camera views, labeled from my library and sent directly to layout. Very little if any CAD other than the earth and stone fill.
  6. Draw all the trusses in, hold SHIFT and select them all, open bdx and check energy heel. Take 20 seconds.
  7. I'm confused with, what does actually drawing the truss have to do with raising the roof plane off the plate? You can still depict the energy heel without actually drawing all those trusses. Am I missing something?
  8. Do you have lineweights turned off in your layout view?
  9. With all due respect, the roof as currently shown, isn't worth fixing. That will never work without a very large cricket for proper drainage, and the ridge hitting the bottom of the window is gonna be a problem as well.
  10. As Eric said, use a wall cabinet. Place the wall cab, drag it down to the countertop, remove the bottom and add the door style, should take less than a minute to do this. Would take longer do dig around the library.
  11. I used invisible walls on the floor above and changed he floor structure from 2x12 to 2x6
  12. Not my concern. My dimensions are QC checked before getting to the framers. If the framer is scratching his head, he is the problem, not the plans.
  13. I have one builder that does their slabs to the outside of the sheathing. My wall set up for them is 3-1/2" stud, 7/16" OSB. 1/16" Houswrap, set the foundation to build to the housewrap. Exterior of a 50'w home is 49'-11". slab is automatically set for me to 50'-0". Easy as that. Don't get all wrapped up in all the 1/8" stuff.
  14. I think most would say just evil, but thanks!
  15. I'll stick to my original assessment, overthinking. If this creek doesn't have to do with the construction or design of the structure, then we have all wasted too much time on it.
  16. You're overthinking it... Click on the polyline, use the convert tool and make it a TERRAIN FEATURE (that's what it is), assign the water material, done. 30 seconds.
  17. Not enough info. Is the hatch a part of the wall default, hatch tool, etc...
  18. Without the plan, it looks like the cabinets are overlapping and that isn't a filler, it's the overlap amount. Auto fillers don't move cabinets, they simply disappear. You have something else going on in there.
  19. Before spending too much time and effort on finding a v.8 dongle, I would want to know if your computer operating system would even run that. You may well be wasting your time even trying to run that version.
